Slight Budokai 2 box error.

On the back of the PAL Gamecube Budokai 2 box, you can see Vegeta and Goku fusing with the Potara ear rings. But Vegeta is a Super Saiayn in the picture and Goku isn't. zomg. =P

That also happened in the anime when they were fusing. Goku's hair was normal and Vegeta's was lighter (you can't tell what color but the default assumption is that he's Super Saiyan). I always figured it was a Ying Yang thing, since Ying is represented by white and Yang is represented by black, according to my Tae Kwon Do teacher (who's Korean, not Chinese, so he might be wrong) but it's also probably just an error. Dragon Ball Z has a lot of those.
What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

I always thought that it was because Vegeta's hair is lighter than Goku's, so in the Light of Fusion it appeared whitish.

Yeah me too,
there are more spots in the anime that in another light the hair of Vegeta seems more brownish.
Elder Kai also mentioned it wasn't necessary for the Saiya-Jins to be in SS form so I'd like to think neither are with the fusion

Quoting many is research.

He also said that if they fused as SSj, then the Fusion would be SSj and unable to power down.

In the manga neither of them are Super Saiyan as they fuse.

Yea, well on the cover for Ultimate Battle 22 (US), they put 3 fighters who were not even in the game.

1. Teen Gohan (yes I know Saiya-man IS teen Gohan, but Saiya-mans not on the cover, Teen Gohan is.)
2. Gotenks Super Saiyan 3
3. Kid Buu

Well, Gotenks does go Super Saiyajin 3 during some attacks, if that counts.

Yes, I knew he did and I checked FAQs to be sure... and came across one by The S, so I knew I wasn't crazy. :)

I hope that you aren't serious when you say that. Pulling out the special moves and taking a picture at the same time isn't easy. But other people will confirm that this isn't a fake.

What move is that? as in how do you perform it as the name may be different.

Down, Down-Backward, Backward, Forward + Circle

It's Gotenks' special move. It isn't the easiest move to perform so I was quite pleased to be able to get it on a screenshot.

Ah, in the Pal version its called NTM Multi Missiles, strangely though he does not go SSJ3 while performing it. I notice other differences though, like the text between the life/power gauges.

Uh, no...

I haven't played the game for a long time, but I think regular Die-Die Missiles don't have Gotenks transform into SSJ3. His Meteo does. It consists of him changing into SSJ3, headbutting the opponent and blasting him with SSM.

The combionation is:
Forward, Down-Forward, Down, Down-Backward, Backward, Down-Backward, Down, Down-Forward, Forward + Square.

Or just Half Circle Backward, Half Circle Forward + Square.
It's party time, Ginyu style!
