Oh yeah, but I'm super excited about new episodes. I've got my mom's DVR ready. What's the deal with the quality of the video? Are we still on those 32mm negatives? It looks fantastic. So much detail. When do the high quality film episodes end?

Oh, I meant the original DBZ score in the -first- dub of DBZ they did.

Jesus Christ, how many English dubs does DBZ have at this point? Ocean original, funi redo of seasons 1-2, funi 3+, ocean 3+. Not to mention that Movies 1-3 have two different dubs too.... there really is no single straight and coherent dub that goes from start to finish of DBZ or maintains much real continuity. (but at least Kai's doing a nice job of that if you count it as part of DBZ)

That was actually my least favorite Piccolo voice. It just sounded...weird. He was trying too hard to mix the King Piccolo voice with his normal King Piccolo voice and it just came off as forced imo.

I'm only asking that someone transfer the episode of their site onto youtube, because Nicktoons chooses to limit the viewers on their site to Americans only.

I would obviously watch it on nicktoons site if I could, but I do not live in America, so it won't let me.
I hardly see what I'm asking is wrong. Unless of course, you believe Dragonball should be watched by Americans only..

Because Nicktoons is allowed to put it on their site because they hold whatever broadcast rights are needed.

"Random DB fan on YouTube" does not hold those same rights.

Dub fans expect bad acting? I don't think any fan expects bad acting.

I never expect bad acting, but that's because I'm an eternal optimist.

As for Kaio, I think the voice has improved a decent amount over the old one. It's gotten a bit less out there, while still retaining the core of said voice. Feels toned back to a degree, to me.

And I don't expect the acting to suddenly go bad. The only reason it did for Season Three's redub is because Schemmel wasn't a part of that. This time? It's a new dub, not a re-dub.

So, to my knowledge, Fourth Form Freeza shows up around episode 40. So, 5 episodes or so from Saiyan Blood, Chou Super Dragon Soul, etc. How far away is Goku going SSJ? I really want to see this scene in the new dub.

Well, that was in reference in how Piccolo failed to call him King Kai and just went for "The Kai" instead. I don't see what the big deal is about what the name translates too. It's just a name.

That's just nitpicking. By that logic, wouldn't it be weird if they called him "King Kai", too? (So he's "King World"? )
