He actually pronounced "Saiyan" correctly. I had to rewind the video to confirm what I just heard.

And what's up with him calling it "based off of a Manga chapter that was never released"? :|
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Video walkthrough, enjoy.
I really don't like how they made SS3 Vegeta and Broly separate characters, again. But apart from that, the game look spectacular.

My problem is that I'm torn on both sides of the argument.

There are times where I would like to try and reenact, lets say movie 10, and Broli needs to transform from SS to "LSS". The computer doesn't understand what I'm trying to do, and I don't want Broli to jump to SS3. So them being separate characters is nice.

But then there are times where I'd like to have a battle of rivals, letting Goku and Vegeta start off in base and transform higher as the fight starts to reach an epic climax...but Vegeta can't transform into a SS3 and it ticks me off. lol And if I put Vegeta and SS3 Vegeta on a team, then they switch before I want them to. xD

This is basically why I want them as the same character.

Yeah, I know how you feel for sure, but I won't complain about whatever they decide to do about them for RB3 since I like and dislike both ideas, as I've said.
I suppose they could add in a canon option along with the return of being able to turn transformations on and off.

The easy solution to this is to play with both controllers. Dont worry I do it all the time.

That is a ridiculous solution, why would I want to play both characters? I'm not trying to reenact the battle exactly as it happened, I just want to follow the basic guidelines.

Oh, slight change of topic, but after seeing that walkthrough video, is anyone else a tad...disappointed?

A lot of the things I loved in the original game seem to be gone for no reason. We already knew that the character selection screen was sadly using prerendered artwork for the characters, but it seems that even the Museum is using the prerendered art instead of the models. I loved the Museum in Sparking! Meteor/Tenkaichi 3 and Raging Blast, being able to see the character models and compare the character heights, costumes and crap was awesome.

I'm highly disappointed at the HUGE lack of grphics on the menu page. I LOVED the other world thing with Shenron flying around in RB1.

I think they're saving the use of models again for RB3.

What exactly are you comparing it to? I dont remember the guy in the vid mentioning anything about the customization system in RB2.

Yeah, it does seem a bit plain even though I kinda like whats going on in the background with the outer space thing.

On a side note I do hope they change SSJ3 Broly's Ultimate. I mean, I liked it at first and I still do but its just that now that I look at it its not really fit as a finisher, it would be more fitting as a rush imo. They should give him something that has him using his full power.

I agree. Capsule system removes any need to separate the characters based on era or what-if.

Take this info however you want. The new RB2 "Walkthrough" video showcased a full character select screen, but the what-if fighters slots didn't appear on the screen until you actually unlocked them in the original Raging Blast. That being said:

Team Xbox wrote:Namco Bandai has announced that a playable demo for the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Raging Blast 2 will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for free on Thursday October 14th. The single player demo features four fighters – Super Saiyan Goku, Dabura and Ultimate Gohan. There will be two unique arenas for players to duke it out. *Note* Majin Buu is also in the demo, but not mentioned in the article.

The full version of Raging Blast 2 features destructible environments and of course signature character moves from the animated series. The game is speculated to featured over 100 different characters from the various incarnations of the Dragon Ball series. These include brand new “What if” characters – fusions of existing characters unique to Raging Blast 2.

The game will be released in November 2010 in North America, Europe and Japan.
They are either correct and Spike wants to keep a lid on them for as long as possible, or they are misinformed. You can be the judge for now. I have no opinion, as I refuse to set myself up for disappointment if incorrect. So for now I'm filing this in the "cool if true" section of my hype I guess.

As I had said, In RB1 the slots for the What-if character didn't appear till you got them. They could be doing the same for the new ones if there are any. I guess a way to keep potential buyers interested longer? Probably a new strategy to get more sales after RB1's poor showing.

I WISH there was a hi-res picture of the character select screen without other logos on it, I would use it as my wallpaper.

Back on topic, IF it IS true, thats the best kept secret of a DBZ game YET; they DO have the room for them.

That cuts out all of those what-if Super Saiyans.

Just for funsies, I'm going with Vegeta-Trunks and Ultimate Gohan-Trunks[just off the top of my head...since they don't appear together at the same time ever, the latter]

Even if not, Gohan should get a chance to fuse with SOMEONE, he is the only one that never got to. I don't see them using anyone aside from Saiyans, since we already seen Tiencha before, and no one else is really the right size and power....unless they are going cross-species................unless they fuse villians, but villians are always too cocoky for that. [disregard Super 13]

I don't understand, if SSJ3 Goku is under Goku, who is the character on to the left of SSJ3 Broly?

Thats where the customized/DLC characters go

So......lets just say we DO get 2 what-if FUSIONS....will they already be fused or do you think if you are playing as one of the 2 characters that go into the fusion , you will have the fusion option. I ask because SS3 Vegeta and Broly are already in that state. That would suck if we didn't get to see the fusion happen.

I don't know why but I would adore a Gogeta/Vegetto fusion. One with the dance and one with the Potaras. lol
