Well, since the demo has only been announced officially for EU, it will show up on their store whenever it they normally update. Even if the US doesn't get the demo on their store tomorrow, those with a EU account can still play it much earlier than the normal update time due to the time difference.

Still no demo. What is their problem? Hasn't the game gone gold already?

Be patient, we should have a demo in less than 24 hours. You should be glad we are even getting a one, they don't have to give us anything.

It's still part of the Sparking! series in the sense it has the same overall design, Spike even proved this when they said "returning characters from the Sparking! series" instead of 'new characters'.

He did say 'actual' fighting game, never did he say this isn't but hinted at it and quite rightly too, it's more of a simulator than a fighting game in my opinion.
Here we go with the simulator stuff.
You pick a character. Your opponent picks a character. They fight. It's a fighting game.

Agreed. I used to not care about demos.....or DLC and online playing for that matter [pre-BL and RB] and now I can't wait to play it. I've been watching the 3 RB2 videos on the PS3 and its got me psyched to play it. I wish they would release the opening so I can watch it in full clarity on my tv.

You lucky German you!!! I've got to wait like another 8 hours in the US. [if we are getting one]

Anyone with the demo....do the 4 characters have a set movelist or can you switch them around any?

Wow, you're lucky since you have the demo. I want to know (and forgive me if this makes no sense; I don't know exactly how to word it)... in RB2 when you are attacking with melee attacks and the opponent is also (doing the same / attacking with melee attacks), do they cancel each other out and both keep punching or does one take priority over the other?

You can play with SS Goku, Kid Boo, Dabura and Ultimate Gohan.
Stages: Mountains (?) and Glacier.

And yes when both characters are attacking with punches or alike one wins priority over the other one.

Darn I was hoping they changed that and made it act more like Tenkaichi 3 did. So how fun is it? How do the combos work?

There will be hell to pay if the demo is not available when I get home today. HELL TO PAY.

But really, Spike would be major douches to not give the US a demo as well.

My friend is having trouble getting the demo to play. (he lives in the US) any other US residents have this problem when downloading the demo from the UK?

I think we get the demo at 7:00 PM tonight IIRC? I live in Maryland, and right now its 12:18 PM which means the demo won't be out until another several more hours.

Same here, I'm in SC.

Did they upgrade Fat Buu to Kid Buu? Everyone kept saying it was the fat one in the demo before today.

Most of the new combos I've done so far are just mashing triangle after a basic rush+smash combo. They're basically suped up versions of those old BT3 ones. There's probably a lot more stuff to be discovered though, but it's difficult since the skill list doesn't show all the new moves and just shows the RB1 skill list. The full game's one will probably show more.

It's neat how Kageyama's new song plays when you use Raging Soul. I assume that's only for the demo though.

I do like how if you use a full basic rush attack without chaining into a smash move(such as the gut punch and so on), you can follow it up with more of those new combos instead of just being left wide open like in RB1.

Not to mention that the computer doesn't really give you time to try and figure anything out. You kind of have to just keep attacking and hope you don't get your ass handed to you while you try to figure out what followups are available to your character. =P Kid Buu is still cheap Kid Buu, SS Goku loves to spam the Shunkan-ido Kamehameha, Dabra likes the Explosive Wave and his Spear, and I haven't fought against Gohan yet...

As for the demo itself, I'm kind of disappointed. It isn't the demo's fault though, I'm sure it is my own ineptitude, as I'm still trying to spin the analog sticks to recover from hits and still trying to to Boost my moves. xD It is definitely different from RB1, but since it does play so similarly, I'm finding it kinda hard to adapt to the new changes and seem to be stuck in my old ways.

If the game developers themselves can't realize that kid buu had been cheap ever since Ever...I don't really have hopes of him not being broken.

I also found it a little annoying how if you're too close, you are unable to use that special dash move to zoom behind your opponent quickly. When at close range, tapping X will simply cause you to backflip instead. That's going to take some getting used to.
