I have feeling that this game is going to sell worst then the first game did, I still can't believe the first game got a sequel when BL did not (BL sold enough to become a greatest hits title for the PS3).
There will never be a BL2 or a BL2 any time in the future considering the people who made it are working on the biggest mashup of the century so a second Burst Limit is not in the near future. One thing I don't like is the alts. and battle damage some people have better alts and you get like 4 pictures of Videl after she is beaten up by Spopovich yet she does not have actual battle damage aside from her normal scratched up look, same goes for 17 but yet 18 has battle damage. Then you see Pikuhaun's picture without weighted clothing on and yet he doesn't have that as an alt. Are you freaking serious? It is as if they are saying "yea we know it exists but we just don't care enough to put it in the game." also why are all the pictures the same pictures you can find with a google search? You would think they would of had rarer pictures at least.

Also how do they give us what we have been wanting in a battle damage start item but not give us an item that gives us the GOOD battle damage and not just the scuffed clothing one? I swear they did so many things right but just as many things wrong in this game! Also Niezu's ultimate is so bad and his supers are generic so why was he put in if this is what they give us? New characters are supposed to be special in some way most these new guys aren't special at all!

That was a pretty fun video to watched, they got some stuff wrong but it appears that they are not really big fans. They seem like they know about the series but not a lot.

It seems theres a lot of hate going towards this game right now. I guess I'm the only one with no complaints as of yet.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Giant Bomb did a quick look of this game. I thought it was pretty funny, but some of you might not like some of the things they get wrong.
lol no wonder Gamespot fired him. XD

...I'm such an ass.
Eh, they seemed cool with them shitting on crappy Dragon Ball games.

Dimps have been doing better things than saturate the market with DB games.

I played Raging Blast 2 over the weekend at MCM Expo. About half the characters were available and I got in a couple of bouts but overall I wAs disappointed. It felt like 1.5 rather than a sequel. It had the same moves On the same stages just new characters and a different shader! (Apologies for the random caps my iPhone put in)

Just like I thought, online battles are a freakin RS spamfest. I'm sure 5 people felt good about themselves while they beat up one character while I stood still and got my trophy in no time.

*Sigh* They had to draw those up so they had illustrations of them.

How do you know?

Forgive the lack of reading through the last few pages, but is this game worth the money or should I wait for it to drop in price? I haven't played a DB game since Tenkaichi 2, and I'm anxious to see what's up with this PtEtSS story, but I don't want to pick this game up if it's a flop.

Why don't you buy it and test it for yourself? It's always a bad idea to ask those type of questions on the internet because everyone will give you different advices.
Buy it test it and if you don't like it give it back.

I can only say if you enjoy the graphics in the lots of gameplay videos and especially if you like fighting you'll most likely like it.

I'd say perhaps look up some gameplay videos online (Youtube) to see if the new gameplay mechanics and controls are to your liking. Or download the demo fro a more hands-on experience. Personally, I think if you enjoyed the earlier Tenkaichi games, you may enjoy RB2. The controls are very different, and the AI is a lot more aggressive, but practice helps alleviate some of the awkwardness.

If thought RB1 was merely OK, and took FOREVER to complete. RB2 fixes some of the issues, like lack of responsive controls and bad cameras, and it's shorter, due to their being no story mode. But the AI, like I said before is more aggressive, so learning some of the more advanced maneuvers is essential. RB2 still isn't a fantastic game, but it's a decent one.

I'd say if you're looking to buy just for the new anime, wait on a price drop or make a holiday gift. But if you enjoy these types of games, then go for it.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Does anyone know if you can program in a Block button? I have yet to find one for melee attacks.

They really did fail with the mell combos for this game, I had such high hopes.

Yeah, the blocking in RB2 doesn't work great, so now I just sidestep or teleport away from everything. It pisses me off too.

What? There is no way to block a move in RB2?

People liked the demo but hate the full version, how come?

Is it all because of Galaxy Mode?

It's because the blcok button doesn't work for any type of melee attack.

And all of the "Defeat the enemy before Raging Soul ends" battles are abso-f*ck*ng-lutely retarded. The game is FORCING you to rush through everything.

For those of you confused by certain characters being unlocked by the completion of certain other characters' Galaxy Modes:

From what I can gather, certain characters unlock certain ones, while others (such as Yamcha) seem to unlock the next character in a "queue"... and characters that unlock characters that were unlocked previous by one of the random unlockers seem to pull from the next in the queue.

I hope that clarifies some head-scratching.

About blocking, it was frustrating as all for me at first. But after a while, I've gotten the hang of it. I really haven't had a difficult time blocking at all lately. Just give it some time.

I really like the Raging Soul battles. I was getting really pissed off with them, but realized I was just trying to rush through them. Once I started utilizing the free teleporting that Raging Soul offers, it's really a piece of cake.

Most of the complaints I've seen so far are things you just have to get used to. There's still some grievances that I have, but I'm hopeful that they're just things I'm not used to from previous games. Of course in games like this, it's all about timing, ya know.

I hope that didn't come across as patronizing, because it really wasn't.

By the way, Future Gohan and #14 are fucking awesome.
