Re: "Raging Blast 2" Gigantic On-Going Gaming Discussion
I want to know what every bodies thoughts are on the customization system. I personally wish they kept it as it was in RB1 but now it's just bad. You have to weaken your character in order to get more slots and you can't get a bunch of health and stat boosting items it's one or the other. It's nice the vanity items don't cost anything but I really don't see why they messed with it other than people whining it was broken on gamefaqs.
Also about the blocking it isn't unresponsive it just doesn't stop your attacking animation like it did in the last game instead it waits for the animation to stop and then it blocks. It's not broken just something you have to get used to, I hope this helped.

I beat Battle Zone with Mecha Frieza and it gave me a special boosted Frieza in the "DLC Character spot".....do you think that means EVERY character will have one?...like do we have enough room for that?

Or maybe it just gives you one for whatever character you beat battle zone with first.

Re: "Raging Blast 2" Gigantic On-Going Gaming Discussion
I don't know, there are a TON of spots left, and I'm sure there are plenty of zones in the battle zone section, not to mention Ultimate Zones. That is going to be a b*tch because I'm so OCD that I'm going to end up having to beat one with EVERYBODY.
Side note, remember those stars? They now have little ribbon stamp things that do I'm not sure what yet.
Also...is it just me or does the new special seem more 'cartoony and not-serious' compared to the older animation?

I would hope the other spots are to be revealed later. Also I agree I mean Bulma destroying the destron gas? Then again the little mutant looking guys from the original aren't in and they were as cartoony as it gets. Though the battle with Hatchyaack was pure DBZ.LeprikanGT wrote:I don't know, there are a TON of spots left, and I'm sure there are plenty of zones in the battle zone section, not to mention Ultimate Zones. I liked the battle, although a bit short....I'm not really sure why everyone's attack turned into a kamehameha and then joined together. I've NEVER seen a special beam cannon magically change colors and all that.

Eh, matches don't really last that much longer.LeprikanGT wrote:It's because the blcok button doesn't work for any type of melee attack.
And all of the "Defeat the enemy before Raging Soul ends" battles are abso-f*ck*ng-lutely retarded. The game is FORCING you to rush through everything.
And the one mission-type I hate is when you have to fight two characters while you have no health.

Re: "Raging Blast 2" Gigantic On-Going Gaming Discussion
There was one or 2 where you had THREE fighters and no health.
The trick was to spam pretty much. I would jump in the air, get to high tension and zoom in front of them, fire...and repeat.
I hate that the Raging Soul button is the block button, I keep accidently making it happen when I want to block an attack. They REALLY need a button to come out of that.

That or just equip one of the items that negates the no-health effect.LeprikanGT wrote:There was one or 2 where you had THREE fighters and no health.

Such a thing exists? Well I'm going to go look for it.Captain-Sora wrote:That or just equip one of the items that negates the no-health effect.LeprikanGT wrote:There was one or 2 where you had THREE fighters and no health.

Ah, I see how that could be annoying. Hasn't been a problem for me yet since I haven't tried to block right after getting max power with no intention of going Raging Soul.LeprikanGT wrote:

So far the hardest fight for me was having to defeat Vegeta and Table before Raging Soul expired with Vegetto.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Re: "Raging Blast 2" Gigantic On-Going Gaming Discussion
Just to put it out there, there are TWO verions of the red magma Jeice/Burter attack; Jeice got the better one.
.....And the android's team attack....is there 2 versions to all of the attacks?
#18 sounds like a total Valley girl.
Second battle zone finished...yep, whoever you use, gets an 'enhanced' version.
OMG, You can melee your way into High Tension mode, could you do that in other games?

Anyone able to confirm whether or not this shot from the end of the story, after Hatchihyakku is destroyed, is also in the new version? It looked amazing in the original:

Probably not, just those two. Oh and are there any significant changes in the enhanced version of a character?LeprikanGT wrote:.....And the android's team attack....is there 2 versions to all of the attacks?

Re: "Raging Blast 2" Gigantic On-Going Gaming Discussion
Does anyone know how which "Perfect Action" battle you have to do to get the next "negate no health" (or whatever its called) item? I got the first by doing all of Goku's perfect actions (or Vegeta's, either way I used it on Vegeta's no health battle, which was the second galaxy I did), but the other Pefect Action missions I've done have given me rather pointless stuff to negate, like opponents Ki increasing (something I have I-III in...) and stuff.
I have to ask because otherwise the no health battles are a pain in the backside, although I have done a few that "Negate No Health I" didn't work on, but it wasn't that fun...

Er.... No.

Re: "Raging Blast 2" Gigantic On-Going Gaming Discussion
Is there a list anywhere of all the items?
See what happens? Everyone b*tch*s about the story mode and they cut it out and give us two 'busy modes' filled with random battles and way too way ways you have to get items.

When people said they didn't want a story mode I don't think they wanted a replacement.LeprikanGT wrote:Is there a list anywhere of all the items?

Also has anyone unlocked any of the 3 un-lockable movies? I'm curious as to what they are.
