Episode #0241! VegettoEX, Meri, and Julian check out "DragonBall SD", a new spin-off manga by Naho Ooishi. Is this "Saikyo Jump" inclusion worth the paper it is printed on, or is it just another case of "been there, done that"...? December's releases, your e-mails, and much more round out the episode! Lots of manga talk, lately! It's the cool, hip thing apparently. Enjoy the show!

A reference you've forgot to mention: Goku was cooking a fish that looked similar to Yajerobi's before he met him in the Piccolo Daimaoh arc.
Also, we didn't hear your opinion about the chapter being in colors. I thought that was worth mentioning.
P.S.: Dang it! Julian has finally returned and I was anticipating my "important" email to be read! I hope he will be in the next episode to answer it.
Going to bed now... it's 2:25 AM right now and I was supposed to study for this Thursday -________-.

'Oomaygoomay', Mike? :p
I was a bit underwhelmed by Dragon Ball SD. It's a shame that Ôshi didn't take more risks. I'm not really getting the feeling this story is going to do much. Kind of a shame...

Aww, I thought you were going to read one of my e-mails this episode, but, wrong Colton. Curse my hopes...Still, good to hear a review of SD, as short and relatively pointless for fans as it was. Also...I was expecting the Japanese equivalent of Little Saiyalings too. >_>

SD is a case of "Been there, done that.", but there's nothing we can do about it.

Hahaha. Meri sounds like me. "I'm cold... I'll take a bath!

)
Ahh! Kappei Yamaguchi...! I've been meaning to buy the Japanese version. I need to do that sometime.

Master Roshi leaving them in the forest for a month reminded me of Izumi leaving the Elric brothers on an island (a very forest-y one) for the same amount of time in Fullmetal Alchemist more than anything.
EDIT: Of course, I haven't actually read it so I don't have any particular opinion; from the way you guys described it sounds pretty meh though.

Pushing Goku and Krillin off a ledge isn't totally out of character. We are talking about the same man who sent them into killer shark infested waters without telling them before hand. And tied them to a tree and knocked over a bee hive.

Yeah this is exactly what I was thinking. Also your avatar skeeves the living fuck out of me for some reason.
Dragonball SD is...cute. I dunno, I'm glad it's some "eh" retelling then some shitty hardcore fanfiction.
