Much as Poseidon's death caused the great flood, and the beheading of Helios darkened the sun, the defusing of Vegetto caused Dragonball to collapse into itself, leading to the shoddy Kid Buu arc, followed by complete collapse into GT, DBO and AF.

It seems pretty obvious that Vegito is able to put two and two together and figure out it's Gotenks move.

Even if such thing were true, which I admit it can be, that doesn't make Dabura any weaker than Cell is.

Nor does it make Cell any weaker than Dabura is.

I simply assume Vegeta watched most of the events on Earth from the afterlife, including Gotenks fighting Buu in the Room of Spirit and Time. (even though it was in "another dimension")

Oh, here's a legitimate mistake, that dbgtFO reminded me of in another topic: Vegetto calls Boo's Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack "a child's move," or some such thing. Problem is, neither Goku nor Vegeta ever saw that technique, because Gotenks was in the Room of Spirit and Time!

I don't know how much of this is filler and how much of it is canon, but in the anime, Gotenks used the ghosts twice after leaving the RoSaT, and Boo used them once against Gohan too. Gokû saw all of these.

@Everyone: Goku and the Kaioshin gang weren't able to watch the battle in the Room of Spirit and Time, so I'm assuming that Vegeta couldn't, either. Also, how would Vegetto figure out that it was Gotenks's move? Boo is such a weirdo, wouldn't he assume that it was something Boo cooked up?

Ah, "That must be", if that's correct really clears up any inconsistency with it. Being that Vegito is assuming it's Gotenks' technique. Though, one could argue about him not assuming it's Buu's technique.

Well, more literally, it'd just be "I see... That's the absorbed Gotenks's technique." Didn't mean to make it sound like he was guessing, I was just trying to phrase it better in English...

But Gotenks wasnt fused at that time when Boo used his attack. So how was he still able to perform it?

Boo can imitate other people's techniques just by seeing them. He doesn't have to have absorbed the user.

There's another inconsistency, when #17 says "It's been a long time since I heard [Son Goku's] voice..." #17 never met Goku.

The truth is, this line was originally Lunch's, in the storyboard, but it was changed to #17's instead. Damn it Toriyama, Lunch needed that cameo more than anyone!
