How to tell if a CD is bootleg?
I know EX has a big thing about bootleg DBZ merchandise. I was just wondering, how exactly can you tell if a CD is legit? Other than what comapny made it.

That's pretty much it. If the company is EverAnime, SonMay, "Smile Face," etc... it's a bootleg. There's only a few legit companies that put out the real CDs (Columbia, Forte Music, Sony / Team Entertainment).
Plus, if it's a compilation that doesn't actually have a corresponding original release (like the DragonBall GT disc that has four of five DBGT songs and then ten of the eleven Dragon Live '98 songs), it's obviously a bootleg.
Once you see a few, it starts getting pretty obvious.

You could also try checking things like catalogue numbers. Most of the DB CDs would start with either COCC or COCX for Columbia, or FMCC for Forte releases. Bootlegs start with SM or GGG for Son May, and ANG for EverAnime, for instance.
If you're getting them from a place like eBay or Yahoo! Japan Auctions, the best thing to do is try analyzing the description and any images they have. Sometimes the text actually mentions the company or catalogue number, or sometimes you can just spot those things on the image.
