I actually really like the DragonBall Z Kai dub. If they created their own music I'd be kinda pissed off. I'm glad they actually learned from all their old mistakes though.

I'd definitely have zero interest in the dub if that was the case and my interest as is already wanes due to some specific dub Kai stuff I won't get into here.

Yeah, I agree with pretty much what every has said.
No real point doing a new music-mix for Kai especially, yeah FUNi would lose all credibility they started to gain from thr DB fanbase that started with... the Dragon Boxes.

I definitely agree with DemonRin and PenguinTruth that Yamamoto's score is a nice medium but even at times I start pulling my hairout when "Dub" fans claim that Kai's dub sucks because the music is "sucky."

I dont think the music is sucky in Kai. But it really doesnt put me in the mood when I'm watching it.

I wouldn't care as long as they kept the new dub and included Kenji Yamamoto's musical score for the home releases. Who knows there could have been scenes I would have liked better with the dub score. PS I really liked the Goku powering up againts Ginyu vid though I could'nt imagine it working with Doc Morgon as the narrator.

Them dub fans haven't heard Saiyan Blood. That insert song is the shit. (And they even kept it in the Nicktoons version of Kai).

I can see why some people like the Faulconer score, but at the end of the day I prefer Dragonball with the Japanese score, so creating a new music-mix would be a waste of time.

I dunno, but I think that this change is kinda tasteless. Why does it have to be rock music everytime.
What is bothering me about US alternate dubs, that the music is out of place and is heavily changing the atmosphere.
When I saw these youtube videos, the scenes lost pace, mood, atmosphere and that kind of epicness which instrumental and orchestral music gives to them.
For me it's like watching Star Wars with Para para techno soundtrack...... hell!!

For example one great reworked music and score which came to my mind from USA (Altough the edits screwed the show)??
And I like it better then the Japanese original (damn I hate Japanese pop and gay openings nowadays),
but the BGM was also great and sounded like motion picture.
