It's also an issue of storytelling. We have to see more of Bra because we still don't know her all that well. And other characters we don't know well, like Super Namek, are still in the "oooh mysterious!" stage. Don't forget that we're still in the preliminaries.

I'd say characters like Belldandy or whatever from Ah! My Goddess is a perfect example of what a Mary Sue character is like.

Dragon Ball is a series that thankfully avoided them.

If she died from that shock-wave and crashed against the shield, where are the nasty nasties at? I mean, Pan got bloody and snapped her neck. Zangya just...died.
But the fight was short and I like it. Except for that we all probably are disappointed because of the same reason.

I don't think she wanted to do that...not really suitable revenge imo..yea she's dead, but in an instant, not very satisfying..

Well, Bra was pissed and didn't control her power enough, which is why Zangya died instantly.

Really? Zangya hate? There isn't much to like or dislike about her. She was nothing more than a sexy femme fatale from the Bojack movie with no real personality other than evil. I think, more than anything, they just wanted to have Bra get her revenge.

Well in a comic that, until the actual plot starts, is focused on wanking popular characters, it's easy to misconstrue somebody being stomped as hate for that character for some people I guess.

I really hope the Nameksejin fights next; even if there's not really anybody who could give him a good fight left. Maybe somebody else from the universe of the Earthlings? This may be a confabulation but I think Videl was present there too in the novelisation. Still praying that Chaozu appears. That poor guy really needs to get some spotlight for once.
