The movie was not a success by any stretch and thus should not warrant a "raping" of any kind, I think.

Wait, what? You mean they didn't use Rule on the Japanese DVD? That's odd.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:They used Worked Up instead of Rule...

Hm, the pictures are gone, so I wonder if it would be possible to put them back online, and how does the dub sound; do you have samples?
Re: Dragon Ball Evolution Japanese DVD Dissection
I'm also really interested in this. I love Yamaguchi Kappei so XDsangofe wrote:and how does the dub sound; do you have samples?

Yeah, you can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. I still haven't watched Evolution although I've been a crazy DB/Z fan since the 90's just because of how scarred I'd be. :pCODii wrote:It doesn't matter what language it's in. Erm, YouTube? Just name it was "Dr@gon B@ll" so that the people who own it don't find it.The Time Traveller wrote:Anyone know where I could upload clips?

There's this magical place on the interwebs some people call "youtube".The Time Traveller wrote:Anyone know where I could upload clips?
I'm totally kidding. Please don't take that the wrong way . You probably have your reasons for not using youtube. I'm pretty sure you can upload video clips on photobucket. I don't know the size limit they have though.

YouTube banned me for uploading a few Dragon Box, I'll try uploading to PB when I'm back online...
Re: Dragon Ball Evolution Japanese DVD Dissection
If you can make your way through a portuguese site, this website is pretty good for stuff like this.

Re: Dragon Ball Evolution Japanese DVD Dissection
Can't make heads nor tails of it Puto, and it seems to take forever to load... Plus Photobucket seems to be implementing the whole copyright infringement thing like YouTube, so that's a no go...
I could just pull a Tanooki and just have images with the sound, that might work!
That doesn't work, as soon as I uploaded it originally as "Monkey King VS Musical Instrument THE MOVIE!" or what ever it was removed and I think that's when I was banned from YouTube too.
I'm uploading it now with a piece of fan art instead of the video, flipping it doesn't seem to work either. YouTube is being incredibly slow for me now too, so it'll take an hour for this tiny, itty bitty little clip.

Here's Kappei Yamaguchi asking Shen Long to bring Kame back to life.
I uploaded this clip because it was the only one I kept on my computer, I'm gonna go get more now...

Re: Dragon Ball Evolution Japanese DVD Dissection
I don't remember where I found it actually, it was either DeviantArt or Pixiv.
Bulma and Yamcha! You can hear Kame-sennin say a line too, missed that when I was rushing the video, notice how deep and manly he sounds.
Mai and Piccolo, they have the BEST voices in this entire dub.
And... KAME HAME HAAAAA!!!!

Usopp Kamehameha-ing the shit out of Jiraiya is epic.

These clips (And maybe even all of OP!) make me glad I've never seen any Inuyasha in Japanese.

Wow, my jaw dropped from that Kamehameha. I so want the Japanese dub of this movie now. So much better sounding. No wonder it did better over there.
You must have faith in who you are.
