I've recently noticed that some of the characters don't sound the way I remember them; namely Muten Roshi. Even though this guy tries his best to impersonate him, the voice I hear is DEFINITELY not Roshi's.
So, this made me think; did they just take all of the dialogue directly from the anime and put it into the game? Or, did they find all of the original voice cast, and redo everything?

Dragon Ball is a 80's anime, most of the voice actors are old and some of them have already died, such as the original voice of Muten Roshi, though most of them are probably in their 50's-70's, wich means that they can't scream like they did 15 years ago, but the rest of the cast is the same.
As for Muten Roshi, his voice actor died before the end of DBZ, his last voice acting as Muten Roshi was in episode 260, his was replaced with a new actor for the rest of the series and GT.

Goku's Japanese voice actor, Masako Nozawa, is damn near 70 years old(!!!) and still kicking if the biography I read a while back is true. Not to mention the voices in the Menu screen; I definitely don't remember anyone from DB talking about memory cards or anything of the sort.
But still, they could've just taken some choice words for Muten Roshi from the anime and easily put it into the game. It's really distracting and takes away from the enormity that is playing with such a character. (LoL, where did THAT come from)
I mean, if they did it for everyone else, why the exception? *sigh* I guess we can't have everything.
