Yamamoto Pieces You'll Miss Hearing in Kai
Now that Yamamoto is gone, I don't feel as motivated to watch Kai as I use to since the music played a big part in the whole 'refreshing' of the series, and I'm sure this is the same for many other fans. So, what pieces do you think you'll miss the most? For me the list is extremely long, but narrowing it down here are a few:
-The Formidable Warrior, the Saiyan
- The Braveheart Challenges the Strong
- The Ebb and Flow
- A New Foe Rears His Head
- The Victor's Dance
- A Mighty Foe

A Grim Fate.
That is all.

GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

"The Braveheart's Triumphant Return", probably my favorite Yamamoto piece.
Kentai wrote:Son Gokuu is a fascinating character anyway, because he is - at face value, anyway - an idiot savant. The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Even though Desperate Situation seemed to pop up in every episode at some point or another... I really felt it. I'll be missing that as well as Scampering Battle.

I definitely will miss The Formidable Warrior, the Saiyan, it's the only Yamamoto piece I listen to on a daily basis.

Pretty much everything from OST 3 aside from The Ebb and The Flow and A New Foe Rears His Head.

"Heroic Face-Off," my favorite song in any piece of Dragon Ball media.
This is the episode of when Gokuh enrages himself after Freezer talk shit about Kuririn

WOAH WOAH WOAH. Wait...
What the heck happened. So I never watched DragonBall Kai on TV. I'm watching it now for the hell of it. It's got Kikuchi's music. What happened? Last time I was truly involved with anything DragonBall was January of 2010. Which DragonBall Kai was still only on Japanese television. What happened to Yamamoto pieces and when did the change of the inserting Kikuchi's music happened?
One last thing. Is this sad for the whole original DragonBall franchise? I've been gone too long and I'm sad of what's happening to my best childhood memories. I don't know if I like Kai. They should of just left the original series as it was...

A Moment for Shuddering.
All his insert songs.
And there's one more piece but I cant remember what its called. It plays when Freeza is first shown (except for the 5 second clip in the previous episode) and when he shows up just after Polonga dies. I thought that piece fitted Freeza perfectly.
Actually when I think about it, I am going to miss the entire score.
