Yes, I don't want another release ruined. If Kai keeps most of the Yamamoto score intact in their DVDs, it will be a close-to-perfect release for once, which is what the fanbase needs.
So mondo lame.

Guys, I hate to say it but...we shouldn't be suprised.

I mean Nicktoons, delayed episode 60 the day of (or was it after) TOEI fired Kenji. When it came back on next week, Toonzai started using the old OST, but Nicktoons just kept it and shortly after replaced all the obviously infringed songs.
I assumed that Funimation didn't want to completely switch to the Old OST, so they're just doing this for hopefully the DVD, Nicktoons and maybe the Kai OST will return to Toonzai.
I hope they'll keep Saiyan Blood and News of the Cell Games

GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

Hey uh, just out of curiosity... Have any of the new Kai episodes been leaked yet on Nicktoons.com? I would think some new episodes would've shown up by now with the Android arc starting on Monday, would it?
Forum quote of the moment:

DBZ bootlegs have the movie 9 cover with the pioneer movie 2 description on the back and the disc actually has a Japanese soap opera in MEPG2.

I always thought Daemon's "KAAA MEEEE HAAAA" was the epicest kamehameha yell. I can't wait to hear him with more experience in Kai.

What was the last episode aired on Nicktoons?
http://nicktoons.nick.com/videos/clip/d ... -full.html
Is this a new one? Or one of the last ones aired?
Either way, I need more Kai, it's good for the soul...and the ki.

Looks like they're finally using Kikuchi music for Nicktoons, too.

Re: Dragonball Kai (FUNimation English) Dub: General Discuss
Some impressions:
It's good to hear Chuck Huber again as #17. I like him in the role, and it even sounds like he's improved. I have no idea who's voicing #18, though. She sounds a little too polite even when she tries attitude. It's obviously not Meredith McCoy, and I miss her, but I'll give the new one a chance. #16 sounds a tad more human from what I can hear. That's good.
It's so weird listening to DBZ with an accurate dub AND Kikuchi's score. Brings me back to the Ocean dubs of movies #1-3.
My only issue with the score is that they seem to want to go from piece to piece without letting any room for silence. It's really weird at times. Not Kikuchi's fault mind you, but whoever is in charge of placing the music. The music mostly fits, but it just seems like they're going through a new piece every two seconds. Were they that desperate to replace that Yamamoto score?
I'm looking forward to watching (and listening to) more.

The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

I do not know who is voicing #18 but I don't like her new voice. I am enjoying Chuck as #17 though.
And, as usual poorly placed Kikuchi music.
