Dude the Super Fighter: The Legend of Flasku (Comic Series)

Post by RockJohnAxe » Mon Apr 19, 2010 9:20 pm

What started off as a Stick Man DBZ Spoof in high school eventually became so much more.

The Comic's Story

Many Years ago a Powerful Demon named Flasku, Ripped open a Dimensional Rift to this world. The Demons poured through the rift flooding our world. With each passing day the Demon influence spread further and further. Soon six of the world’s strongest Super Fighters came forth and tried to Defeat Flasku. Three of the Super fighters were killed but the others managed to Banish Flasku back to his own Realm. The three of them locked the Dimensional Rift with a Powerful enchantment using a Special Key made of Power Stone. This special key is the only way to remove the Enchantment and Re-open the Rift. They then smashed the key into 6 Pieces and split up the pieces evenly between them and went their separate ways.

Not long after the Demons arrival a sickness spread through the land. People called it The “Demon Fever”. Dude’s Mother quickly became very ill. After Father left to Fight Flasku, Dude’s Mother soon passed on. During the Battle Father Gave his Life to help Banish Flasku back to his dimension. Dude was was sent to live with his only surviving relative, his Uncle Rowba.

It'd be much easier if you just posted links to the pages instead of the pages themselves. :D

Unless your on Dial-Up, which i have a hard time realizing still exists, Then i just dont understand how that would be "easier". To Each their own i guess.
Well, 30 images that are 1024x787 loading at once will take some time regardless. It would just look a lot more organized with links instead of pages.

EDIT: Or, heck, even compressing them all into a zip file would be nice. :D

I sat here for a long time trying to think of what this comic reminded me of. Do you remember the book Captain Underpants? These are a lot like the comics those two boys draw.

I read through all of it, and this is what I think:

- It's really funny. I like the jokes in it.
- I like the improvement in chapter 3, where you put more focus on backgrounds and panels
- I like the Dragonball and ki references
- It looks like you know how to draw, some panels are well drawn, some look more sloppy. But I don't know if you make the comic just for fun, so either way, it's acceptable.
- Maybe texting (AS I DO HERE) would be better so that you can read it more easily.

Otherwise, it's a fun concept and I look forward to reading more! :D

Hey Thanks a lot for the Feedback!

Part 1 i drew as a joke comic for fun cause i had DBZ on the brain. But overtime i started to develop characters and a story line. This entire part was drawn in Pen.

Part 2 was a little wishy-washy, i couldnt really determine the style the comic was going to use, as I'm sure you can notice because every pages layout is different.

Part 3 is the beginning the the Comics True Style and how it will proceed in the future. Eventually ill go back and redo Part 1 and 2 of "A Day of Muscle", but first i wish to continue further with the story. I have many ideas and characters that have yet to make an appearance.

Everything about this, from the idea to the Art is all done by me for fun. Its also a way to help me improve my Drawings and backgrounds while having fun at the same time :D.

As far as the Texting, hopefully if i find more time i might do some Clean up and ink the Pages, which is when i would add text. Technically these pages are the Rough versions.

Thanks agian for the feedback!
