PSN Adds DBZ to Video Store
Re: PSN Adds DBZ to Video Store
Yeah I noticed about season two and I agree that (the) orange bricks are crap and (for you/us?) to stick with Dragon Box episodes.

I feel tempted to grab it. I can never have enough of Raditz vs. Farmer with the shotgun.

Re: PSN Adds DBZ to Video Store
I downloaded the first episode of Season 2 and surprisingly I watched it all (I only got to around 8 minutes of the first episode of Season 1). I realized how much of an improvement Monica Rial is as Bulma over Tiffany Vollmer. Also I haven't watched Season 2 since around 2007, and WOW are the colors ever bleached. Muten Roshi in the hospital was blending in with the walls.

Re: PSN Adds DBZ to Video Store
I have just downloaded the 2 free episodes. I have never watched the Season Set footage episodes past the first season (I rented it on Netflix when it came out) and haven't seen it since. I am curious to watch these for comparison sake, since I have the Dragon Boxes and Kai episodes. So, this will definitely be interesting.

How does the video quality compare to the Season Set DVDs?

Re: PSN Adds DBZ to Video Store
It's the same footage. The PSN release isn't one of their HD offerings, so it's the same old 480p.

I grabbed the episodes and it was like putting the Season set dvds in my PS3 back in 2007.

Re: PSN Adds DBZ to Video Store
Sorry for the stupid question, but I can't seem to find these episodes on the PS Store. :\
Could it have something to do with the fact that even though I have a US account I can't see them, because my actual location is different?

Yes, that would be the reason. Even if you have made a U.S. account the PSN Video Store can track your I.P.BobZ wrote:Sorry for the stupid question, but I can't seem to find these episodes on the PS Store. :\

Ah, I see. That's what I thought anyway. Makes sense. Thanks for the info.

The Orange Brick footage actually looks pretty good on a PSP screen.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but they also just added DBZ to Xbox Live.
