I'm happy enough with it I suppose. As long as it has all the parts and costumes I want, its perfect for what I planned to do with it...give characters the costumes they haven't had at all, or at least in a while. I highly doubt that we will see new costumes and there is no way you will be able to edit the official characters ex:colors or costumes.
I really love this costume designed by AT,but now there is no way we can have it.

Yeah I hope we'll be able to edit official characters too, this alone would pretty much do it for me.

Well, there's still the body type options, which they've mentioned, confirmed with some artwork (child character) but haven't shown yet in game footage. In any case, even if there are more options than just child and Adult/Tail or no tail, yes, it looks like this game's editor will end up really limited. Forget Mortal Kombat, so far, it looks more limited than the editor from Samurai Warriors 3.

Even so, I'll buy it though. I should still be able to do something with this... Hopefully, we get a sequel that expands it further.

Anyway, I'm not suggesting that we be able to fully edit the official characters. I don't want to make Goku bald or anything, but it would be nice if we could have some editing options for them. Like, instead of the main menu having 2 set costumes for you to chose from for Trunks, just give us like 5 "Costume Slots". Then in the editor, they can disable a lot of the features to prevent us from changing Trunks' voice, hair or skin color, but keep the ones that still make a bit of sense. Allow us to to be able to switch his costume to any of those used by the characters (we already know we can't make anything unique, so that isn't what I want), so we can put him in the Capsule Corp jacket, or the tanktop, Bulma's Battle Jacket, Goku's Dogi, whatever. And then for hair, just keep the styles we saw him with; the Trunks' bowl cut, long hair with ponytail, or 17's long hair.

I don't know if someone already addressed this but this custom character is using Trunks costume...yet he has wristbands on.
I don't recall him wearing wristbands, at least not in this outfit. While what's been shown of the character creator would suggest that you can only pick one full costume and that'll be it, maybe there's a bit more to it. Maybe you can add some more accessories or something. Unlikely, but one can hope...

It's been obvious just what this Create-A-Character has entailed since the original trailer was released yesterday. I don't know why all of you got your hopes up and assumed you had complete freedom in the customization process, the video was pretty straightforward with its limitations...the new one is even more straightforward, possibly to clear up said confusion I suppose.

The character creation mode was a selling point for me, as it actually offered some incentive to buy the game for a reason other than "Spike DB game #6" (granted I haven't exactly been keeping up with the game, so maybe I'm wrong). But since it appears to be sub par, I'll just go play Sparking Meteor and play the same basic game. Without having to shell out $60.

Huh? I was questioning him. I found it funny too. I don't see how it's a warning...

Seriously though, why base the game on an option that you can ignore? I thought we've been through this.
but then again, I've joined this year, my say doesn't count.

Yeah. Apparently, people want a deep ass SvR type creator mode even though they know something like that is virtually impossible given the time frame. But, there will always be complaining about something.

Are you getting this game? I want to form a DBAF assassination group or something. I think this CC business is gonna be a lot of fun in terms of beating up a bunch of SSJ4 Vegito, SSJ Infinite wannabes and such.
