However the SSJ artwork looks radical.

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.Rukura about Sparking Omega wrote:I'm imagining people from Namco Bandai looking at these big sites talking about the announcement and them going "Wait....what?! Goddamnit, Nappa.

Yeah, not cool but oh well.InfernalVegito wrote:They didn't tweak the Ice stage at all? Looks like they simply copied and pasted it from RB2. Sad..
Also the gameplay still seems way too automatic and limited. Will probably never like it.
Yeah I saw that too, smh I guess thats just something I'll have to get used too then.Sinestro wrote:Did anyone catch this little gem on the comments section of the second trailer?

Oh, can you enlighten me the process of making a demo in detail? I rather they focus on the game anyway.DarkGokuZ wrote:It can't take that long to make a demo.
Well, I will buy it anyway...
This is Spike we are talking about. Think about it and you'll realize that high expectations are a no no when dealing with them. I wouldn't be surprised if they were cutting characters from RB2 due to having to also work on a CAC mode.Sinestro wrote:I skipped RB2, but was excited to hear that we have a CaC. But upon taking the time to to examine these limitations, my excitement has dampened a bit. (As I knew it inevitably would, but hey, I rarely get excited about games.)
Of course, there may be a few more surprised up this game's sleeve, so I'm not off-board yet.
Even if I did want to make an evil Namekian in Saiyan armor!
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
