But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Re: DBZ: Ultimate Blast/Tenkaichi (Pre-Release Discussion)
I think we already had that topic with the music ingame a couple of sites back. I think what they meant with "original music" on the screen was meant to be understood as original music for the game itself that is originially created just for the game. VegettoEX said something along those lines if I remember correctly. I don't think the western games will get Kikuchi's score.

The Faulconer score was in Z, yet no game had it.Rory wrote:Considering that Kai now has the Kikuchi score, there's absolutely no reason to not include it in the NA/EU versions.
EDIT: ^ Non-American made games that is.

FUNimation's dub is just a dub of the show, not the show itself.mysticboy wrote:The Faulconer score was in Z, yet no game had it.Rory wrote:Considering that Kai now has the Kikuchi score, there's absolutely no reason to not include it in the NA/EU versions.

Correct me if I am wrong, but haven't we had the same music that the Japanese versions of the games get since Bandai took over publishing in NA? I don't see why they would stop now.

No, the Raging Blast games featured the Kikuchi score in Japan. It's cool, I didn't even realize it at first, eitherArchedThunder wrote:Correct me if I am wrong, but haven't we had the same music that the Japanese versions of the games get since Bandai took over publishing in NA? I wish for a game with BGM from Dragon Ball/Z/GT/Kai in Europe, but of course the Kai BGM will never ever be included in any Dragon Ball media...

Well, if we decide to buy the Japanese version of the game, will we be able to play against people who have the American version?

Pretty sure the online play was global for the prior two games, irrelevant of the music changes. Anyone else know for sure?Drabaz wrote:Well, if we decide to buy the Japanese version of the game, will we be able to play against people who have the American version?

New pictures have been added to the DBZ Games Facebook. This one is interesting:

Can anyone tell me what costume is this?

Did that gameplay video...deconfirm Mecha Frieza?
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

The demo's don't typically have EVERY character available. Just like the past ones where only SSj Goku has been shown doesn't mean that every other Saiya-jin CAN'T transform. Fourth Form Freeza is just the only Freeza available in the TGS demo.SRB2Unleashed wrote:Did that gameplay video...deconfirm Mecha Freeza?

Ah okay, thanks. That explains why none of the gameplay and such didn't have anything new. Isn't there supposed to be a TGS trailer?Haseowolf wrote:The demo's don't typically have EVERY character available. ...I can't believe people are still talking about the Faulconer soundtrack.mysticboy wrote:The Faulconer score was in Z, yet no game had it.Rory wrote:Considering that Kai now has the Kikuchi score, there's absolutely no reason to not include it in the NA/EU versions.
EDIT: ^ Non-American made games that is.

It was the soundtrack use for only one country. It only existed due to copyright issues, and only succeeded in making the series seem like a young kid's action cartoon (with the "HARDCORE BAD ASS GUITAR ZOMG" and such). It's been about five years since the tracks were legally necessary for the American dub. The Orange Bricks allowed you to watch the dub with the original score, yet people to this day wine and bitch that it isn't included in a game or DVD/Blu-Ray release. Incredible.
I realize there's some dub fans who grew up with it, but you need to understand why that is never going to happen and why it is essentially ignored by most fans and game developers alike.
To me, it's almost like going on an Astro Boy fan forum about how you prefer the 2009 American Astro Boy film to the 1950's television series.

Thanos before Thanos was cool.
