No it's not, Krillin doesn't have wear those boots with no T-shirt under his orange outfit.

It's one of the 'custom' outfits like Saiyan Hero's.

Speaking of that possibility to create our own Saiyans, I hope Gohan's teen hair style or look-alike hair style is accessible. I don't remember that from the videos, but this picture you're mentionning seems to indicate it might be available.

I'm not worried about the clothes since I guess I'll be able to find look-alike clothes quite easily, but if there's no Teen Gohan hairstyle (or something similar), I won't be able to recreate Akira Toriyama's prototype High School Gohan (which I prefer to the final one, but it might have been discarded for being too cool to fit with Gohan's temper or too similar in style to Future Trunks)... Oh well, we'll see, that wouldn't be a disaster as there's enough customization to create a cool character anyway. But that would be a plus.

The one on the right of the sketches page (and also the only one on the right of the final Gohan).

While we're mentionning those, you probably know that, but it doesn't hurt reminding people around here that the prototype sketches for some characters are available on the main Daizenshuu EX site. It's very interesting, and maybe even more now that we might be able to give life to a few of these prototypes in this new game.

I always thought it was too bad that my favorite prototype for High School Gohan was left off (although it's understandable for more than one reason), but for the first time, I might actually be able to see him in action "for real".

I haven't been keeping up with the news, but I heard that SSJ3 Vegeta and Broly will not be in this game, is this true?

Yeah, that's what we've been told.

Game comes out in six days, right? What are the chances Chilled and SS Bardock will be in the game? I think that would be pretty damn cool.

No...lol Oct 25 for US, Oct 28 for EU, and Dec 8 for JPN.

Dunno? 50/50? We haven't even seen a single GT character that isn't a boss yet, and GT is confirmed to be in the game. So, I'd like it, but we have no idea...

I guess we'll find out the full roster in a few weeks when it comes out on the 8th in Japan. This wait is killing me. I need to play this gaaaame.

Chilled and Bardock make a lot of sense to me, though. With the new Saiyan from Dragon Ball Heroes being the posterboy for the CaC, a few more influences from DBH doesn't seem out of the picture. And it would be a fun new character to play as.

Why will we find out the rooster when it comes to Japan? It will be released sooner in US & EU... :?

"Bock, bock, BACKOCK! Caulcacoodledoo!" - Rooster sounds

I have no idea why Japan is getting it much later as I don't think they get a bilingual copy... :?

Not to mention, they don't get it till December 8th. Which is probably why they will get something the US and other region's don't get in the game.

I hope that they won't add SSJ Bardock & Chilled as Japanese exclusive... :(

You know, I was thinking about Vegetto and it just occured to me that the formation of Vegetto might be shown in the animation cutscene rather than in 3D, kinda like Goku threw his Genki Dama to Freeza in 3D rather than animation. It would be sweet if Vegetto was to be shown in animation. It would be nice if Goku transforms into SSJ3 in animation too. We haven't had any stunning new animation from Z scenes since Budokai 2's opening. So having them in new animation that takes a couple of minutes or less each is pretty sweet.

The new OVA from last year was alright. Not the best idea, though. This year makes up for RB2's OVA. I was a bit disappointing with the new OVA's animation. I mean the character's designs are great, but the colors and less minutes was a big minus for me. From what I have seen in the trailers, the new animation cutscenes for this new game seems to be have some improvements.
Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru's #1 biggest fan

A piece of animation is a beauty of art.

Having newly animated scenes for the Boo arc are a must-have (SSJ3 transformation, Vegetto's fusion etc..). They didn't continue Kai and therefore I hope they at least have done it for the game..

So far 15 stages. I don't understand this bit though: Their is no limited spaces like the hyperbolic chamber because the game requires now to have huge environnements.

Does that mean we have bigger areas or are the barriers gone?

I distinctly remember a frame in Budokai 2's intro in which Super Saiyan Gohan's hair loses all shading and becomes a single "piece" of yellow. And there are more tiny errors, I wouldn't call it stunning. But new animation? We had Budokai 3's intro like Raykugen said, the intro chapter of Sagas had pretty good animation, then there was the 2008 special with total new animation, Kai's openings and endings and finally the 2010 special. So... I'd said we had a pretty good deal of new animation in the past decade.

I think the problem with Super Saiyan Gohan's hair occurs in Budokai 3's opening doesn't it? When he's fighting Metal Cooler.
