Nicktoons to start showing Dragon Ball Z Movies September 7!

As we already said, it didn't look like that originally. I have the DVD and I don't recall it looking all digitized and shit. Most have been some broadcasting issue.

But the repeats still have that crappy quality. The master/tape/whatever Nicktoons recieved musta been like that.

So, according to my guide, Nicktoons is showing Movie 7 on Wednesday and Movie 9 on Thursday. Anyone know anything past that? Maybe they'll show the Cooler movies?

Movie 13 is up on nicktoons.com. Funny to see it's the same master on the singles, which I'm only just now noticing since I've watched 13 so many times.

Even though it doesn't mean anything at all, and even though people have already reported similar things; it really seems like the writers on the cable guides know their stuff. Movie 7 is listed as being "New, (1992)..." and the Movie 13 repeat says "Voices include Nozawa Masako and Kusao Takeshi. Hashimoto Mitsuo directed." despite listing the year as being 2006. Not that it means it's subtitled, obviously, but just sort of interesting.

I saw the same thing with my Cable guide. It listed a few actors, but nothing about directors. it did mention a year.

They played Movie 13 last night and I watch it since I was stuck at my Grandpa's house with nothing to do. It's still a fun movie and I believe it's the same version that they played on CN back in 2006?

Hmm, odd. They edited the shit out of movie 9. Just some edits off the top of my head - they created a split screen to avoid showing Goku punching Bojack in the face. Also they didn't really show Bojack getting killed. What the Hell?! In movie 12 everything was uncut except for the Hitler scenes. Oh well. No big deal for me but, I just found it a little odd I guess.

Well Movie 12 was given a PG rating from the MPAA from what I can remember. Which could be why that they did not edit anything other then the Hitler scenes.

Didn't they still edit the Romeo and Julianne scene? I never understood that.

Which doesn't make sense, since they let "hell" pass by. They left in graffiti that said "Mr. Satan" though.

The opening in movie 5 has been altered from the original release. On the old DVD it has Head Cha-La's animation cut down to a minute with Bruce Faulconer's opening. On Nicktoons it's the full animation with Menza's opening like on the Steelbooks.

I'm really enjoying watching the movies on Nicktoons, mainly because I haven't seen any of the movies before.

I wonder if they plan to play Movie 1-3 next? The chances are that they will be playing the re-dub version that Funimation did back in 2005 or 2006 if they play Movie 1-3.
