Well can you capture it? I'm not even sure if the stream will be blocked in other regions yet.

I can't wait to see the results as well. :)

Mikezilla, is there a particular reason why you tend to have certain letters bolded in red in your posts?

New Bonus Features announced for Level 1.22: "An Engineer and a Pen: Autograph Collection Part 1, The Many Faces of Christopher R. Sabat, Textless Opening Song, Textless Closing Song, Trailers."

Also the first set "Includes Special Edition Foil Stamp Signed Character Profile Card". Whatever that means..

That's kinda disappointing.

I can't be the only one wondering this, but where the hell are the interviews from the original cast members, or interviews of Toriyama himself? I mean this is an over 20-year old product, and it's kind of crazy that we don't have some deluxe edition of the series filled to the brim with special features.

Not to mention, FUNi's been using Creditless Z Openings as -standard- OPs. They aren't bonus features, unless the "Standard" in this version is somehow different (Original Japanese credits? Yeah right...)

What is the "Autograph Collection" thing, anyhow, and how does it relate to an engineer? Is this some overly complex terminology for the new remastering documentary?

None of those bonus features sound like anything they'd need to "acquire", either.

That Chris Sabat piece could actually mean something, perhaps the interview akin to Sonny Strait's or a feature on how he played so much of the cast. Unless someone can point me to something old, that sounds like new content befitting of something like this. Major? Not too much, but definitely "This is the smexy HD long time coming super collection" material.

The Sabat extra will probably be him counting off his thirty-ish roles in the Dragon Ball Z dub.

Funimation usually puts these things on Youtube, or their site a while afterwards. Any important info will be harvested from that.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

If it's anything like first convention in which he acknowledged DBZ Abridged, it'll be totally worth it.

("Then there's Jeice, and I'm glad everyone in here's from America so no one will know my accent sucks!")

("And Burter, he's this blue snakey dood... and he runs very fast!")

Just a note about the live stream:

It's fine if you want to post any major news from it or a recap, but please don't turn the thread into a live chat about it. We have the actual chat room for that.

Hah, Fukunaga mentioned his uncle by name! Did anyone catch it? :P He also seemed to indicate (it might've just been a joke) that he's trying to get Toei/Shueisha to make for Dragon Ball Z. Interesting, but probably nothing big.
