if I buy this game, I'll buy it for the opening.
That's really sad. :(

I don't believe this game is going to be that bad. In fact I think it's going to be great. But I have been reading that this Friday, we will be getting a full roster confirmation. Is this true?
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Yeah, I also believe that the game is going to be great, it's only the roster that disappoints me.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I'm bummed that it MAY not have Goten and Trunks, but other than that I'm good with the current roster. Was kind of hoping with Hildegarn being in as a boss that they may include Tapion, but we'll just have to see.

Just a couple weeks left! Can't wait to play this!

I think the game should be good as well since it's the first DB game that I pre-order since Sparking! Meteor back in 2007. I'm not bitching about the character section, I think a lot of fans have been used to do games with a huge section of characters. Before 2005, most of the games had section around 25 - 40. I think it's nice to have a good quality game since Burst Limit (I personally like it a lot but I think most people will disagree) or 3rd Sparking/Tenkaichi game.

Wow, my interest in this just bottomed out. Male Saiyan created characters only and such a bland roster... really the only things left for me to like are the graphics and boss fights. Not enough to justify the Day One purchase I was mulling on.

Don't worry, I don't think that this is the last game with the CaC feature, so in each game, the feature will surely be upgrated.

Precisely. Gone are the days where I need to have every DBZ game right away, and I've got to pick and choose my battles, no pun intended. The last DBZ game I bought when it came out was Raging Blast 2, and I was severely disappointed - but at least it had a fun roster full of characters that we'd never seen playable in a previous game. I actually can't remember the game I got immediately, before that... Budokai Tenkaichi 2, maybe?

Regardless of the source he read it from, we should be getting a confirmation of the roster on the 7th. Nostal/Treevax/"whatever the hell you want to call him" has once again been invited to Namdai's little VIP event, just like he was last year when they leaked the rest of the RB2 roster. Assuming they put out a fully unlocked version of UT/UB like they did with RB2, we should probably have footage of some of the unseen characters (SS4 Gogeta and Yi Xing Long?) and whatever other surprises they may have (not expecting any) in addition to whatever they decide to leak fist via text.

I don't believe everything they say on there, But there is really no difference there and here. We all make assumptions on what we think/hear. But I do trust people more at Daizenshuu EX than i do any other website. :D

I wonder what the hidden achievements are? I just hope that they are not stupid online achievements.

Well I guess everyone will just have to keep their fingers crossed for tomorrow and wait and see if that roster that was posted was real or not.
