To get another copy of Dragon Box 1 or not...

Post by redlinks » Thu Nov 03, 2011 5:35 pm

I'm debating whether or not I should get another copy of the US release of Dragon Box 1 and leave it sealed. I've got one that's opened already, but it's slightly damaged because I accidently dropped it. There's only 11 copies left on amazon, so what do you guys think I should do?

- I prefer Saffron Henderson's Kid Gohan and Kid Goku over Stephanie Nadolny's.
- I still hope for a redub of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z with FUNimation's current cast.
- I prefer to watch Dragon Ball Z with the Faulconer Score, however I do not mind the original Japanese score.

If you're willing to spend the money, go for it.

I would, especially since they have been discontinued. You can sell it down the road, for some cold hard cash, when you really need it

Do it! As TheLegendary117, it'll be worth a couple of bucks down the line. Like anything OOP, they rise in price unless they are re-printed. Which odds are they won't in this case. I know I'll be keeping an eye out on these.

I ended up getting another copy of #1. Hopefully it'll be worth something in the future!

Who knows, you might scratch a disc and be screwed, so why not.

Crap, it's up to almost $40 on amazon! I'm glad I got mine when they had it on sale for less than $30. It seems as though they restocked it?

Yeah, I saw that too. I got my extra copy for $35 and I'm glad I bought it when I did. I don't think they've restocke them because it looks like it's sold by a secondary amazon seller.

You could, but I'm willing to bet that volume 1 is the most common volume of all Dragonboxes.

If anything I'd keep a copy of volume 2. Now that's one that's gonna be worth a lot of money in the future. The next other one that also always seems to be a bit more expensive than the rest is volume 4.
