"Devilish" name, huh? I have a feeling the people writing the description were watching the uncut version...
You do realize Nicktoons is okay with the word devil, don't you?

Also, is it just me or does Piza sound like Betty Boop?

Of course he does. He's stating that for them to say he has a "devilish" name, the version they're watching must be calling him Mr. Satan, which would mean they're watching the uncut dub. Her-cule isn't a "devilish" name.

True, but keep in mind that word doesn't have to be taken literally. Devilish can be used to describe playful in an appealingly bold way.

Given the circumstances, though, it's quite likely that they were watching a version with "Mr. Satan."

Gohan definitely sounds different now. Clinkenbeard has made him sound older. It's working really well.

Yes, much better than FUNimation's old unprofessional Z dub.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Holy cow Chris Rager. Loving it. Same goes for Clarke. The trash talk is fantastic.

Also, I think this is the first Kai episode where I've really noticed blatant filler cuts (Two episodes in one all right), direct translations, animation changes, and bad animation getting worse recolored (Omigosh too much hair Goku!) all in the same twenty minutes.

Just like Dragon Ball since Chapter #4.

Gohan definitely sounded older. Colleen's doing a pretty good job. Cell sounded amazing on last night's episode, did you hear that laugh? Freaking genius.

I agree. Also, I loved Cell's 'floff' when he smacks Mr. Satan into the wall a couple episodes back, it was just hilarious.

It just gives me this 4Kids-esque vibe, y'know? Except Nicktoons at least expects people to read...

4Kids never translates stuff, or at least not enough to where I can remember. It's not even like they'll just erase foreign writing, usually it's just any writing. Not to mention, does far worse kinds of edit.

But, it's not like 4Kids is the only company to do/have done visual edits. It's just they usually do it for no reason. This, on the other hand, is a fine and understandable edit.

Not exactly on topic to Kai here, but I do believe they used to actually translate a few things, back in say, the days of Pokémon season 1.

As for my opinion... as long as they're translating it and not just leaving things blank, it's fine by me. Removing all the Japanese writing from signs and leaving them blank was honestly the most irritating thing about the Digimon Data Squad dub, despite the script outright stating several times it was set in Japan.

At least Citramon was worth a decent laugh because of how downright outlandish turning a bomb into a giant orange was?

Thank god we in Portugal are getting the show uncut.

53 & 54 now have Kikuchi; reruns of 55-63 still have Yamamoto.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

"We" we're getting Dragon Ball Kai? Japanese audio with Portuguese subs? I wasn't aware of it.

So this has been (somewhat) bugging me for a while now, and it's with the name "Her-cule" being used in the current episodes. Does anyone think that "Her-cule" is just going to be used in the edited TV dub seeing as how Mister Satan might not get past the censors. What I'm getting at is a question like "Do you think that FUNimation will have the name re-corrected to Mister Satan for the uncut release?"

Honestly I haven't seen the original DragonBall Z dub in years, and I've heard that FUNimation changed the name to Mister Satan for their Orange Brick releases. Please correct me if I'm wrong here.
