AgitoZ linked to a shot above me. In short:
  • The blue bricks are DVNRed, meaning they've had grain removed from them. It was done very well, so the image is nice and sharp yet clean.
  • They have had color-correction done to them, which I think creates more natural colors.
  • The image has been zoomed in a decent amount. It is a significant amount, like I said, but unlike the orange bricks, it's still 4:3, and thus the frame composition still looks good.
  • No Japanese title cards, no credits on the opening and closings, incorrect opening and closing animations, and no next-episode-previews. I personally do not care about this.
  • Encoded very well.
I say that this is a worthy substitute to the Dragon Box and I will buy the rest that I don't own. If a Dragon Box does come, then...eh. I might buy it. Definitely if a movies box comes.
