My guess is because there was a whole bunch of blood gushing out of #16's head when Cell smashed it, and Gohan killing the Cell Jrs. was pretty much bloodless, from what I can remember.
Ah, good point.

I like how the preview for tonight's episode showed the Cell Jr. holding his nails to Krillin's throat, but in the actual episode it gets edited out.

Also the code is showing the same GT video of Goku and Uub it would seem.

Uh, what? I thought last night's code unlocked a video of Goku, Pan, and Trunks landing on that hot desert planet.

Nevermind then. I only entered the first code today. I guess the RAGE code unlocked the same video. Which then would mean you would need only one code to see all of these videos.

Um, any particular reason why they removed Cell's punch (It's too small to be a time cut)? I mean it's not like it made contact or anything, oh, and I'm a little disappointed that they didn't have Dameon Clarke yell "Too slow!" and while we're on the topic, am I the only one that feels Dameon's deliveries are a bit weak. Here are few more clips so you can judge for yourselves:

They sound a little daunting I guess, but I hope in the uncut version he'll sound better. Overall he's doing better than he ever did in Z, and he was the only reason I enjoyed the Z dub during that time.

Is it just me or is Vegeta's voice sounding funny in these last episodes? I literally laughed out loud when he said "Get out of my way!" to one of the cell juniors.

Cell's voice is slacking too. I hope his voice is better on the uncut version too.

Well I liked this episode... strange censoring here and there though (Cell trying to hit Gohan's after image was cut for example).... :P And they kept a headless Cell Jr. while not even CN allowed that back in the day....

Oh well, At least the music placement was fine, but is it just me or did some voices seem a little off(Vegeta for example)?

And maybe I'm a little late to realise with this, but I just realised that while they censor all references of death on Nicktoons.... this line is in every opening: There is nothing we can't live through - Nothing ever dies; we will rise again...

I know that I'm a bit late to the game here, but just yesterday I heard Colleen do Gohan's SSJ2 scene for the first time. I was very disappointed and found it insanely underwhelming. She completely misses the emotion behind the scream. It just felt like a Luffy rage scream and not the kind of emotion that Gohan was bringing forth of a child brought to the edge of his emotions and pushed beyond.

Nozawa nailed it and I feel that Nadolny did too. Say what you will about FUNimation's handling of the scene with it's inner monologue and Faulconer music. But Nadolny really nailed the emotion in Gohan's scream. Colleen just felt like she was phoning it in.

I feel the opposite. I think Nadolny missed the emotion of the scream, and sounded just like any other scream, whereas I felt the emotion behind Clinkenbeards yell.

It's not just about yelling as loud as you can, and as the scream goes on, you can feel the emotion to it. I thought it was really good.

People had similar complaints about Burgmeier's performance during Tenshinhan's reaction to Chaozu's death, because he wasn't yelling as loudly as in the Z dub, but it sounded more realistic and more emotional. Same case here.

Also, why the heck do people keep saying that "the performances will be better in the uncut version"? Why would they randomly start re-recording entire performances just for the uncut versions?

Especially considering the uncut version is the same minus a handful of lines an episode. :?

People were also assuming the same thing would happen when they were disappointed with Jheese's actor, which obviously never happened. I don't see why they'd start doing that now, or even why they'd do it at all.

No kidding. Some stupid sounding lines are probably just cut but they don't generally censor screams...

I still can't get over how it was to censor Cell punching Gohan's afterimage. :? Anyway, we have a funny situation now regarding the Cell Jr.s and how many Gohan kills:
Manga: 7
Z: 8
Kai: 7
Kai (Nicktoons broadcast): 6
Seriously, they couldn't find any way to edit around that one Cell Jr getting punched in half? Why not just edit it in the same way as the others? A couple of little frames of getting cut in half doesn't matter, I spotted a few frames where one of them was losing their head.

Probably because it shows both parts of the Cell Junior pretty much throughout all of it. They were able to show him losing his head because the head immediately went to dust. The frames where it actually shows the head popping off are omitted. In other words, wherever you can see body parts amongst the smoke it's cut out. I know it's stupid but Nicktoons has a 'only one body part per creature' rule, no matter how horribly mangled that one part is. Android 16 seemed to be an exception since his body is 100% mechanical. You'll notice they retain this rule throughout the series. Tails, obviously, don't factor into this.

The hope is that the uncut version will have a better sound mix. Clinkenbeard absolutely nailed the scream itself, but the sound mix made it sound like it needs to be potted up.

Part of the great thing about Clinkenbeard's Gohan is its evolution. The voice changed as Gohan aged.

I will, however, admit that Naldony's scream was pretty decent. It was one of her few good moments in the role in an otherwise shitty performance.

He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

While I agree with that statement, I found Colleen to lack all emotion. Nadolny had fluctuating pitch which helped bring forth the child on the edge emotion in the scream. Colleen just sounded like any old battle power up yell.

Anyone noticed that none of the purple blood on Cell was censored in tonight's episode, but they always censor it on Piccolo.

Also, why do they no longer have any more references to death? I remember the first 14 or so episodes on Nicktoons had some of the most violent dialogue I ever heard in DBZ, then all the references to death slowly disappeared. By the time Vegeta's fight with Zarbin was over, they were almost non-existent.
