Oh wait, did you order SHF Vegeta when his release date was December 21st?
No, I ordered after the change. I don't remember what the specific store was without checking though...but it doesn't appear to be a big deal anyway.

I've always wondered why they never seem to make a Piccolo figure with a blue belt rather than the red one. I've always thought the blue one suited him better.

The blue belt is from the anime, while red is from the manga. I guess the manga is the more 'original' look.

Are there set release dates for when the new Scultures are going to become available?

SCultures volume 1-3 are already available
1) SSJ Gohan, Goku
2) Vegeta, Gero
3) SSJ3 Goku, Cell
Volume 4 is released as Ichiban Kuji (SSJ Goku, Max Power Freeza)
and the last volume will be released mid January (featuring Piccolo and Android 16)
They're all pretty much available atm.

Alright, thanks. I'm really looking forward to Freeza. Looks like that one'll be coming out within a few weeks then.

Oh, I got confused when you said "SCultures volume 1-3 are already available". Thanks! I'll look around, but do you know where I could buy it?

Edit: http://plamoya.com/en/freeza-dragon-bal ... l?cPath=32 Is this site legit? Is this price overpaying?

Based on the eBay auctions I've seen on the Freeza... the typical sell price for it is around $110-130.

I've bought from there a few times. I've never had any issues with them.
I'm pretty sure they're fine to buy from.

Almost double its usual price, I wouldn't buy that unless you ABSOLUTELY couldn't find it anywhere.

Yeah, I was planning on holding off until more places get it back in stock. Do you know what Playasia had it priced at?

Well, isn't it still likely to get released on Hobby Link Japan? They haven't had it yet, and they seem to be releasing them monthly, with the previous two coming out in December... I'd keep an eye on it.

Seems these haven't been posted:

I guess everything's going to have the color palate of SDCC Goku. Also, SSJ3 Goku doesn't have his halo, it seems it's going to be removable.

Not quite, the SDCC Goku still kind of sticks out like a sore thumb when comparing it to this SS3 and the base Goku, but they definitely took a similar route.

Personally, I dislike this SS3 Goku a LOT. The hair irritates me; its s bit to short and it seems like its stuck sticking back like that instead of going down the back. I still sort of want the thing, but I also don't really care if I don't get it...

Looks like the Super Saiyan 3 Goku's body is made out of the shinier, stronger plastic used on the later figures (starting with Gohan). That's good because the SS1 Goku's areas with the flat plastic (clothing areas usually) is very brittle and tight, and my first one's leg snapped off just by moving it, and I always fear the same will happen with my second one.

If I ever had the extra money, I might buy the SS3 Goku just for the body, and swap out heads for display whenever I want him in a different form.

I don't know if that would be possible. The normal SS Goku and the SDCC SS Goku have slightly different head pegs, despite being the exact same figure...the other heads may not fit the pegs the way they should either.

Yeah they had it for 30$
sold out insanely fast though :/

Not necessarily for Ichiban Kuji prizes, HLJ doesn't do those, and these happen to fall in that category, which is annoying. HLJ has already carried and sold out of all the other SCultures.

What the freck? They slightly altered the mold instead of simply repainting it? Makes no sense.

If that's the case, they may use the slightly different neck peg for this SS3 Goku then... Oh well, now I likely won't spend the money on it and just stick with, and be extra careful with my current SS Goku figure unless I ever decide I really want the SS3 Goku.
