Well damn. Ordering from Australia, it's twice as much for both VizBigs and individuals.

For the OP, I'm assuming he'd be ordering them all at once. He could use super saver shipping at amazon. So it'd be free. (If he lives in the US) IDK about shipping to Australia. Probably a lot more.

Approximately:
VizBigs: $100
Singles: $130

I would probably just go with the bigs. However, I think the OP is looking to buy them for display purposes. So, I think they really want the Collectors Box.

Y'know, I'd love one of those boxes, too, but this is the final nail in the coffin for me, unless the price drops drastically, and soon.

Seems like I'll be getting the VizBIGS now. I was considering those, anyway.

If I would have known I could get the nine VizBigs for around 100 I would have done so. On the other hand, my box set order hasn't arrived for 2 months and I can probably just get a refund and use it to buy the VizBigs xD

Whats strange to me is that from what I've seen with these dissections of the Manga's VIZBigs are superior anyway. I also think the spines of them look pretty neat.

The MSRP for Vizbigs are $18, on Amazon you can find them for $10-$12.
The MSRP for the individuals are $7.95, where did you find them for $5?

Huh, damn, I guess you're right. I was thinking the individual mangas were more like $5 each which would add up to about $130. Guess not.

Krycek7o2 is selling 20 volumes (1-19 and 26) for 40$ I think that's great if you're going to just scoop up the other 6 somewhere here looks like your best deal

I recently investigated this myself, i recieved an email from amazon, asking if i wanted to resell the complete boxset i had purchased. I clicked through just to see what it was all about, and the list price had jumped up to 3 hundred something. I literally purchased this last year. And have never pulled one single issue out of it. it still has the paper strip around the box that it comes with, i got it to be the centerpiece of my collection i had going. Turns out i hit a gold mine. I would honestly love to sell it. Just really not interested in going through the hassle of registering with ebay or amazon to sell, let alone, I'm not a business owner, and i do not have a credit card. Looked for one of those locations that post stuff for you, dont have any in the portland area, so looks like I'm sitting on it!

Still having no luck in finding a box set at a decent price. Everywhere I look it is sold out. I tried contacting that animewild.com site which shows they still have it. However I have sent about three emails in the past two weeks asking if they still actually have it in stock and they aren't replying to me at all. I think anywhere from $100-$200 sounds reasonable, anything after that I ain't paying for.

If your just looking for the manga I have spare set in like new condition of Dragonball (1-16) and Dragonball Z (1-26) that I would be willing to part with for about $150.00 plus s&p. There spares because i got both collector boxes when they came out. If your interested let me know.

Bare with me here, are you selling the collectors box with the mangas inside, or are you selling just the mangas and no collectors box? Was just a bit confused by your post. Also, I'm good on the Dragonball (1-16) ones, the collectors box of that just came in the mail yesterday and was cheap and easy to order from Amazon.

it just depends on were you live. I tried selling them before and the buyer lived in Australia. The shipping from USA/Texas was almost $75.00 because I couldn't fit them all in a flat rate box, but there is no rush on my part they just sit in my closet.

While it's probably coincidental, I love the fact that if you look at his first and then second expression... it looks sort of like time has passed and he just can't keep up with the other characters.

I actually figured that was the implication until I read it was likely a mistake.
