Awesome analysis. I never really considered the fact that Bardock might be upset at the fact that Freeza went "over his head", and I really like the spin that puts on things. However, I still do think he felt something for his comrades (at least Toma), because of the whole headband thing. Yeah, it was a symbol of the betrayal, but it seemed to be one of Toma's personal items at least.

Also, great fanfic.

Anyway, predictions for the next year, since I didn't make any for this one:

- FUNimation will announce a new Dragon Box release. It could be the movies, Dragon Ball, or GT.
- Ultimate Butoden might get an American, or a European release.
- We might get another Heroes spin-off. (Might be SS3 Future Trunks this time)
- Not sure about new video games, but I say it could be a sequel to an existing one, or a new series.

Anybody else having trouble getting this ep to show up on the iTunes store?

The store listing itself only updates once every day or so.

If you're subscribed to the podcast, iTunes will automatically download it the next time you have it scheduled to check for new shows (I have mine set up to check once an hour). I know for a fact the feed works because every time I post a show I check the RSS validation and force iTunes to check the feed and download the new episode, myself. You can always right-click the show name in your iTunes "Podcasts" section and choose "Update Podcast" to force it to check the feed and download anything new it finds.

Glad folks are enjoying the episode so far. Merry Christmas~

I'm surprised that no one mentioned that in the manga version, Freeza clearly seems to be shooting around Bardock to destroy Vegeta, where the animated adaptation he just appears to blast right through him as in the original TV special.
