I honestly wouldn't even support the blu-rays. They don't contain the original theatrical release, and there are quite a few problems with them. Look at the reviews on amazon. I'd save for a better release, but for now the 2-disc special edition DVD's are the only ones that contain the original theatrical release. That's what I have. BTW if anyone wants to see my Dragonball stuff, just click my sig (DBox 7 isn't in there yet, but I have it) I know I barely have anything compared to you guys, but I'm still proud of it!

I know this is the obvious answer, but ebay has quite a selection if you look around. Even more so if you look at foreign auctions.

Yeah. One for watching one for collecting, I'm assuming. The sealed ones are going to be worth a lot in the future. BTW I like that movie 12 poster you have Beji! :D
Yes and yes to both of those I may sell the other Dragon Boxes later on OR if my Dragon Boxes somehow wear down in the years Ill have these ones fresh for my possible future kids. Thank you Clapp I like that poster very much as well I'm a big fusion fan and I always wished that the Janemba fight had a little more fight in it (even one extra kick) so that one was perfect for me. Have quite a few wall scrolls up around my room and didn't get to show everything so in a month or so Ill post the remainder of my stuff. Still waiting to see if the blue rays are all that though really thinking of getting them if they have the funimation OST(its the reason I do not have the orange bricks and I do not want to get all of the singles :/ )

Thanks, but I'm not in the US so postage tends to take a while and isn't always that cheap.

Well, like said, there should be a corresponding ebay page for whatever country your in. Not to mention a lot of ebay sellers will send international for cheap. Of course the shipping will take longer, but that's not too big of a deal. You hust have to look around.

That looks really cool lined up like that, what with all the different characters on the discs. I never actually noticed that boxes 1 and 2 have the big DVD logo on the cases, above the single disc, until I did this myself.

(I know this was directed at dbzwish, but I feel like making a quick point) Next to none of the Amazon reviews are helpful or informed. Most of the 1-stars were put out months before the set even came out, the few reviews that people wrote afterwards were completely without depth. The only review that was extremely detailed gave it a 4-star rating, mostly because of some "bad DVNR" (probably one of the people who thought the DVD sets were utter shit) and lower sound quality on Episode III.

I know I know, but most of the reviews on amazon give the blu-rays bad ratings mostly because they do not include the original theatrical versions. Lots of people, myself included aren't willing to spend $80 dollars on a set that is clearly incomplete. That's it. End of story.

Hey, my friend from the Funimation forums asked me to post this here, along with the topic he posted over there. He managed to collect all 34 Kanzenban. The URL is here.

Here's some pics. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/5/ ... lete1.png/

Here's one that has them on his shelf. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/32 ... helf1.png/

Please people! Stop posting your stuff! I can't stand it no more! I see so much stuff I would love to have
Especially Dragon-box the movies!
No seriously though. I wish my camera was working, I would love to show my shelf of stuff.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

This is gonna be a big post. I tried to shrink down the images as much as I could without them looking like complete ass.
Image
All seven Dragon Boxes. I have the following movies: Dead Zone, Tree of Might (Pioneer), The Return of Cooler, and the Fusion Reborn/Wrath of the Dragon double feature.
Image
Trunks and Bardock on Blu-ray.
Image
Dragon Ball Season One
Image
The Commander Red saga. I bought it because the blue bricks went up on Amazon and I wanted to see how this looks. I can safely say I'll still buy the blue bricks. And considering this has less episodes per disc than most of the other sagas...yeah.
Image
GT The Lost Episodes. I also have the Hero's Legacy single and Salvation. Don't care much for GT, probably won't buy any more.
Also have the first two Dragon Ball VizBigs. I'll buy more eventually.

I got a bookshelf earlier, and stuffed it with goodies~

Here's the Dragon Ball portions of it all:

Image

A close-up shot of my Dragon Ball Gashapon and Original Collection/Real Works figures I nabbed from Amazon a while back. Cheap as hell, like $15. The set goes for over $50 now a days. O.O The Gashapon set was a $10 buy from RightStuf. That went up in price, too.

Image

My sort-of Dragon Ball shrine~ Dragon Boxes adorned by Gashapon Dragon Balls. Gotta love it. Also my Movie collection SSJ3 Goku and an ~awesome~ SSJ3 Goku image hand-drawn by a friend. Awesomeness.

Image

This is mainly my DVD/Game shelf, but it's got a few Bleach and Dragon Ball Z manga. Hoorah.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

List of Anime I own or have watched - http://myanimelist.net/animelist/SSJ3Goku

That's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection, it's infatuation. If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

I noticed they misspelt Shunsuke Kikuchi's name. I thought I had lost this forever. This was my favorite movie as a kid. I loved the dialogue, the music and the voices as a kid and now that I have really gotten into the series and learnt a lot from this site I can appreciate it even more.
I also found this

You're an Aussie too are you? I think I still have my old VHS copies of Movies 5, 6 and 7
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.
