Why would it? It's made for a Japanese audience. That'd be like expecting an English release to have Japanese subtitles.

Yeh I wasn't expecting it too, just wondering.

I got my copy in the mail today. This is my first time ever ordering a Japanese manga magazine, and I've gotta say, it's quite a bit smaller (though thicker) than I imagined it would be.

As far as the DVD goes, so far, I only watched EOB, and like Kei said, the video quality isn't very good. But eh, I'l live.

Has anyone else noticed that the DVD is region free, dispite just saying "region 2" on the front?

So Burdock finally went Super Saiyan, what's next?

Tarble's own OVA too?

He looks like a cool kid/character, I'd like to see an OVA about him, if it were to have a decent plot unlike this DBZ EoB.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Oh, it is? That's pretty cool. Eh, mine will probably take forever to get.

Anyone ship using SAL and receive theirs already?

No problem. Glad I could help.

I actually think Toei did a really great job on the cover art. We would never get anything as good looking as this from FUNi.

I'm not sure you can really call it cover art...all they did was take images off of the Dragon Ball Heroes cards. lol

The artist is the one who's been drawing FUNi's covers. I guess you are kind of biased or something. To me, these artworks suck, too (except for Hatchiyack, probably drawn by other artist). Dat bloated face of Bardock. :|

Well, if it's not cover art, then what is it? Cover copy/paste art? That's a little much to type don't you think?

I was also referring to the back.

It's just character art photoshopped together with lightning and stars. It's sort of the most basic thing you can do when it comes to putting these things together. :( I have a lot of experience putting together keyart, and this is sort of the bare-minimum job you do when there's not a lot of budget or time. It's not bad at all (it has good color theory, which is really the big key to it), but it's not amazing.

While I wouldn't say Dragon Ball is their strongest series in terms of design, most other Funi series actually have amazingly good box art. They are probably the best out there, with Sentai and Media Blasters afterwards.

EDIT: Haha, looking at the BOB, I can tell this is laid out in indesign just from the text frames. Japan has a bad habit of laying out EVERYTHING in illustrator. So if it's a 40 page manual you usually get 20 ai files with all their links. It's good to see them stepping forward a bit.
My favorite movie henchman is Sancho.

Follow my stupid crap on Twitter. Please note, I do not have time to reply to any PMs about color correction methods anymore; sorry about that.
