What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?

All four season sets? I get that five/sex would be compiled into Season Two, but I thought Part Seven would be the final release in the series.

Each set features 26 episodes, 4 discs, so it's like this:

Season One (01-26)
Season Two (27-52)
Season Three (53-78)
Season Four (79-98)

FUNimation has said Season Two (27-52) is planned to be released, but the "proper" Season One (01-26) still nothing been said. Normally it'd cost around $25-$30 but the current one on Amazon reaches $45.

Got the GT complete series. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet. Though, it's not that awesome packaging that it used to be. I guess since going green, they're all just the two seasons with a slipcover. Or that could be just a Walmart thing. It does have their little green logo on the back.

For various little reasons I never quite got around to buying the Dragon Boxes before. With US Dragon Boxes for the rest of the franchise becoming more likely, though, I figured it was a good time to get as much of Z as I could, since a decent chunk of the series is still easy to find and I could show my support for more Dragon Boxes at the same time.
I ordered 5, 6 and 7 for starters since those were still in stock at my online store of choice. As you can see, 6 came in today, and now I can finally give my actual impressions on these things!

I can now see where people are coming from, complaining about that stupid glued-on back cover and the edges of the box getting a bit scuffed. I don't mind too much, though--as someone who orders things online all the damn time, I'm kind of used to the latter.
The main thing I noticed is that the boxes are smaller than I thought! I've seen plenty of images that *should* have given me an impression (like that big image up there that shows they're clearly shorter than the VIZbigs), but I dunno. I was a bit surprised, I expected it to be more bulky somehow.
The Dragon Book looks amazing. I honestly hadn't read about or seen what it actually looked like, only seen scans of some of the pages. I expected a flimsy, magazine sort of thing, but it's a well-made hardcover book! I'm kind of afraid to actually read it and potentially ruin it.

I haven't actually watched the box yet, but I know what the picture quality is like by now. I am curious to see what it looks like on an actual TV, but I don't really have a functional region-free DVD player at the moment, so I'm kind of screwed watching it on my PC. Oh well.

Includes several random gashapon I ended up with while I was trying to get a certain figure (didn't get it, and ran out of cash ). Also, a pink DBZ wallet. Of Manliness.

I ordered the Movie 8 single, and had it shipped to Walmart, because it was freeee... But then I walked 7 or so miles to pick it up. Sooo... And my super fucking awesome girlfriend bought me March's Saikyou Jump. :>



The rubber band used to hold it all together is clearly the best extra the magazine came with.

That image looks really nice. Is there a bigger and clearer version of this somewhere? I've seen the left side of the pic before, with Vegeta, Gohan and Goku , but Chichi and rest are new.

The puzzle was from Hobby Link Japan. I'm not sure if they will have any more available, but you can give it a shot! It was Out of Stock when I initially ordered mine, so you never know.
