If there were legal ramifications, you would think they'd outright refuse to air the episodes until the music is replaced. Unless they like taking the risk that Toei presses charges against them.

I think we all would assume that NickToons would refuse to air said episodes until the score is replaced since that's the most logical thing to do but for some reason that's not what's going on here.

That is a possibility but the idea of seeing NickToons take such a risk is not really likely but who knows what's going on.
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).

It just seems a little weird that they would allow such a big risk if it was, infact, a legal obligation. It would be like slipping a 'bastard' into the Nicktoons version or something. They wouldn't make such a glaring error that could actually cause them legal ramifications and Nicktoons would certainly give them the refusal to air notice if that were the case. Of course, there were slips but those were mostly references to death in the dialogue and, from what I see, Nicktoons doesn't give a shit about those if Dragonball GT is any indication, which for the most part isn't any more censored than it was on Toonami.
