What supplies does Toriyama use to color his work?

I'm referring to how the colors look in the art thats in Daizenshuu #1, the original manga covers, ect. I've always wondered what he used to get that style. Does he use Copics?

Don't quote me on it, but I've heard from several sources that he uses watercolors. If it IS true, it's amazing.

I appears as if he's using copics. I can't say for sure but I'll definatly do as much research as I can on the subject and get back to you on that.

I use copics myself so I'm not just blowing air with my answer. Mr. Kishimoto uses them and their art looks similar (color-wise) to me.

Umm... what's Copics? Is it the automatic (label-a-field-with-a-specific-number-and-send-it-to-the-printing-company-for-coloring) method that comic strip artists use here in the U.S. for their Sundays?
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

I think for his older art he used water colours, but he uses an Apple Mac to do the colouring now. His wife helps him sometimes too.

Copic are a special marker brand used for the professional coloring of comics.
