Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

They claim to not sell bootlegs.

I can see a much more expensive dvd release for Strong World, that comes with tons of other stuff, and it doesn't seam to have english subtitles. Is that what you meant? That there should be no official release with english subs outside FUNi and Japan?

I'm aware of all of this, but the quality is actually good so I didn't get ripped off, even though at the time I was not aware is was a bootleg. I don't know what the official release is, I thought this was it... :?

This?

I'm gonna guess bootleg... I'm getting the feeling that all these releases with that sticker, and similar looking informational back covers, are bootlegs...

Those specials and their releases can be found here: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/home-video/jp/

...of course. I've seen that before..but I guess I didn't connect the dots. They basically lie and say "official dvd release" and "not a bootleg" in the item description, and on those stickers of the covers I posted...

So now I know, there is no official release that has english subtitles for these OVA, right?

For Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans there's Raging Blast 2. Not that the subtitles are fully accurate at all but it's something. (And there's some speculation of Episode of Bardock being in the new Kinect game)

I'm not sure, but I think that might be real, it has the same seal my old movies VCD sets have.
Then again, sometimes bootlegs are very convincing.

The official releases are these:

I will say that even a bootleg will have more than enough space for all three specials. They are very small releases to be honest. It's say DVD-9 on the back, is it really a dual-layered disc? I think they amount to under 4 gigs combined on the official releases. I'm curious, but does it have a real amaray DVD case or is it just a box?

My latest DB purchases from Armageddon:

Image

I never expected myself to pick up the DBZ Level sets as I already own all the Dragon Boxes, but since they were cheap and they might be valuable (that I'm not sure of), I decided to go for it. I got the Kai sets as well to have a loseless track with the Yamamoto score for those episodes. I would have got Part 3 too but they didn't have the BD for that, and I'm aware that Madman's release for Part 4 had the Kikuchi score so I avoided that, unless it was only the DVD that did since I noticed the BD discs were taken straight from the US release since they didn't show the Madman logo, same with the DBZ Level sets.

I'm posting these pics on another forum and I couldn't be bothered taking separate pictures so yeah, ignore the other DVD.

Ooh, are Madman's covers shiny? :D That's kind of neat.

Yeah they are, but for some reason they stopped after Part 5 or 6 and returned to white, don't remember.

That must be only for the Blu-Rays as the DVD's still have shiny covers.

I actually don't like the shiny covers as they expose to many scratches on the case. All of my Kai Parts have the reverse side on display.
By the way, do you guys know if Madman have any plans to discontinue their Level sets?

Yay, New Zealand members discussion!

I only just got back into the Dragon Ball Series, but I got the Madman Entertainment Version of the DBZ Orange Brick Season 1... I only paid about $15 over eBay, but I am still debating whether it was worth it as a person who got back into the series only last year.

Click on the back cover and zoom. I see DVD-9 x 1.

Tonight when I get home, I'll take good close up pictures of the disc and the packaging so you can see.

Just wondering, how much did you get them for, Considering Madman Entertainment over prices everything, like Kai Parts being close to $40 each...

Yeah those ones were $40 but the last time I saw them were for $60 and the level sets were $35.

$35 is pretty good for the Madman Levels, pretty cool!
