The new merchandising deal carefully avoids mentioning DVDs, it, unfortunately, only applies to consumer products.

Uh...Dragon Ball!

Drastic Dragonballs, Batman!

Anyway, I just got Dragon Ball Z Kai Part (Collection as MadMan calls them) 1 from Jb Hi-fi for a bargain of 15.99 on Blu-Ray, while it is usually priced at 37.99...

Wow that was cheap. Just curious, does the discs in your set have the Madman logo on them? Because the one I got from Armageddon appeared to be taken straight from the American release but a friend of mine claims that he saw one that did contain it, though he may have mixed it up with the DVD release:

Hey, interestingly, mine doesn't have the Madman logo on the discs itself either and mine is directly from Jb Hi-Fi, so I guess they didn't put the logo on the discs after all...
-I also have a picture below of mine that I just took.

Does this mean Madman's Part 4 has the Yamamoto score?

That's what I wondered too. I would have got it too while I was there but I was only after the ones that were known to contain the Yamamoto score. Someone else may have to confirm this.

Well since the blu-rays have Region A and B there may be a possibility, but it would be hard to back this up because... it is expensive for someone like me who can only buy a couple things here and there...

I could have bought it myself but the trouble is I live in Christchurch (Quake city  ) so we have no JB Hi-Fi yet and all I can find for Kai is a few DVD sets from The Warehouse.

A brand new sealed copy, I presume? You'll have a sweet surprise once you pop in the disc.
I presume you mean the changed music? I dunno what the original music sounded like anyway so i'm not to bothered :/ anywho I'm not overly impressed with the game.

^ The replacement music on RB2 is great, and like it a lot, but the game itself isn't something that I actually would spend time with.

You're all going to laugh at my newbie-ness :3
But look at what arrived in the mail today!

Extremely happy! My first Dragon Box purchases :D Of course it had to be the last 3. Don't think I have enough spare-saved up money from work for the others just yet o.0 (The postage alone cost like $115!)

It was a nice change for recieving the DVDs in the mail instead of the figures :P
But YAY! Can't wait to start watching them!

((Excuse the picture. Haven't yet thought out where I'm going to put them. And I'm a noob for accidently putting them in the wrong order. Realised that once I uploaded the photo. ))

Nice to see another person in NZ who has the Dragon Boxes. Hopefully you can get ahold of the first four eventually.

I'm currently on vacation in New York, and picked up a pretty good bootleg Gogeta figure at the Elizabeth Center shops. It's the HSCF sculpt on a Real Works-esque stand. I could tell it was a bootleg, but it was only $4.50, so I couldn't resist the impulse. (Excuse the cell phone-quality pictures; my camera's memory is full).
Image

I actually like the painting, it looks decent for a knock-off, especially the pants and skin. The hair... not so much. You couldn't tell from the pictures, but he's cross-eyed.
Image

Of course, he has that nice bootleg lean.

I once was close to purchase this box of the 1-3 films but then found out it didn't had the Ocean Dub cast so gave up on it.

This would be what you wanted, dbboxkaifan: http://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-Movie ... =dbz+movie
Of course, it's overpriced, but you get the idea.

That one for $10 looks like a good price, but I don't know if that seller ships to the UK.

There isn't International shipping option so he probably doesn't ship even if I asked.

I just bought the Orange Brick of the Cell Games. No, I'm not crazy, but Season 6 isn't as bad as the earlier seasons right? Plus it was only $20. The store I bought it from actually had two of the Funimation Dragon Boxes, vol 3 and 7, for only $30. I just wanted the Cell Games, my favorite arc. If they're still there in the near future, I might buy them soon. That store has discounts on everything, I got all my manga from there :D
