Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
I'm not sure but I don't think so. I think it's just a very challenging Dragon Ball Z fighting game, for whatever particular reason. I remember back in the day one of my friends telling me it was the hardest DBZ game he had played.AgitoZ wrote:Isn't that only because the difficulty settings got all screwed up?dprez wrote:Nice. Arguably the most difficult Dragon Ball game ever.

Just got this little guy today.

My friend sold it to me for only $10.00, what a steal. You can get it here if you want.

That's strange.Pokewhiz7 wrote:I'd just never seen anything like that before. Every PS2 game I've seen comes in a black case.
All PAL PS2 games had either a blue (Regular), black (Regular), white (Regular), silver (Platinum) and some other colour, I personally hate that PS2 had so many different case colours so I always try to avoid and stick to one colour case only whether it's Dragon Ball or other titles.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
I'm new and this is my first post!
After 10 or so years of being a Dragonball fan I've finally started to collect the series.
Apart from random VHS's and movies with the ocean dub I recently purchased Dragonbox vol 1,2,5,6,7 and soon to be vol 3! All for $300!!
I'm a fan of the funi and jap dub so not having the Faulconer score is a bit disappointing, however I know Dragonbox is the way the show was originally meant to be seen (atleast very close to) and I'm very satisfied with my purchase
also it being discontinued and rare us another plus :p

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

It's probably a PAL and NTCS thing. My european PS2 games have blue cases and my japanese PS2 games have black cases.Pokewhiz7 wrote:I'd just never seen anything like that before. Every PS2 game I've seen comes in a black case.
Europe. Things are different over here sometimes. For no real reason.

I know what you mean. Now the NTSC PS3 games that become Greatest Hits come in red cases. It looks terrible next to the clear ones.dbboxkaifan wrote:All PAL PS2 games had either a blue (Regular), black (Regular), white (Regular), silver (Platinum) and some other colour, I personally hate that PS2 had so many different case colours so I always try to avoid and stick to one colour case only whether it's Dragon Ball or other titles.
On topic: I didn't technically make the purchase, but my friend and I were at a flea market where he bought a DB saga set for $6.00. I think it was the Pilaf saga.

Now I only need vol. 3 which I'll probably get from amazon. That's unless someone on here knows how to get one cheaper.

Just picked up a used copy of Ultimate Tenkaichi. Decided to try it out for myself instead of constantly bashing it. Haven't played it yet.... but I'll find out how great it is soon enough.

Part four is still a mystery but I highly doubt it contains Yamamoto.[SP] wrote:Ah, that is what I love about the Madman blu-rays. You're right, I probably shouldn't have made my post vague. But yes, first 3 Collections (parts) have been confirmed to be Yamamoto on blu-ray.Gonstead wrote:Part four is still a mystery but I highly doubt it contains Yamamoto.[SP] wrote:Ah, that is what I love about the Madman blu-rays.
