I hope there are international theatrical releases for this movie. Traveling to Tokyo to see this movie is a dream, a very expensive dream to come true. I hope the involvement with fox international could provide an international release in subtitled form like 'Ong Bak' and various Japanese movie releases in NA.

I dont know if your being sarcastic but that would be nice if the movie finally "solved" the many power debates that have been taking place among fans for the past decade however I doubt any of the people in charge of the movie especially Toriyama care about who's stronger than who among the Heroes (Goku always beats the bad guy anyway) or what kind of "buster" Goku and co are.

This thread really shows what a huge variety of what it is fans like about DB is. I just want the movie to be fun and exciting, I don't care about the math or exactly how strong anyone is. As long as the movie is entertaining, that's all that matters to me about it.

Remember, Toriyama is not writing the script for this movie. He may be involved, but it's Yūsuke Watanabe who is literally writing it. That gives plenty of fans plenty of reasons to disregard any statements or showcases of strength within the movie.

Whether people consider it canon or not, the movie making deliberate statements that have lasting effects on the Dragon Ball legacy isn't the worst thing it could do, even if it results in arguments. While doing things that seem outright stupid would be annoying, I'd be far more annoyed if they play it too safe. "Big monster comes, tries to take over the world, Goku wins" kinda stuff. Maybe venturing out of their comfort zone (and the fans' comfort zone for that matter) is exactly what the series needs to see a resurgence, and not the half assed Kai kind of resurgence. Tarble and Super Saiyan Bardock were inching in that direction so it does make me feel like they've got some big plans here. Fingers crossed.

As well as showing that he can survive at an absolute zero. Don't forget that crucial component. Shit, might as well throw Superman in there as well .

I don't think chaozu will be included. I don't even remember seeing him or tenshinhan in the boo arc? but one can only hope

Tien fought Super Buu and saved Gohan. Goku thought about fusing with him with the Potara after Gohan was absorbed, but he was knocked out.

They were both shown surviving Boo's human extinction attack. They were also both shown during the celebrations after Boo's defeat. And everything else I was gonna say is redundant now.

If it's all fun and games like the Jump Special, then great! If it's all action like DBZ Movie 2, then great! If it's a fun mix of the two like DBZ Movie 1, then even better! As long as the movie knows what it is and does it well then there'll be no issues on my end.

Instead of arguing about what is and is not canon and people trying to convince others that their personal canon is the "correct" one, can't we all just enjoy the fact that there's a new movie coming out? New Dragon Ball movie you guys! I mean, there's got to be more to theorize about than whether this still unannounced plot-wise movie is "canon" or not, right?
