Am I the only one who feels this way?
Have you ever felt like tattle-taling someone because of their blatant refusal of using punctuation? Some times they're a regular member, so you don't feel the guts to tell a regular they've been getting away with it scot-free for years(plus, don't have an excuse since they live in the U.S.A)? Other then that, if something is going on uncivilized, I just let VegettoEX and TripleRach do all of the work. I mean, I just don't want to take chances and jump into the fire. This may be a weird way of calling out people, but I digress. I can't be the only person who is like this, right?
Take note: I was taught grammer by a strict English teacher, so I have this weird "Grammer Nazi" OCD.

It's "someone" not "some one", and also "grammar", not "grammer".

No, because I could potentially be called out on grammar errors myself (just like you have by Godo), we're not allowed to mini-mod anyway, and I rarely care so much to do so in the first place.

Nah, it's no big deal. Stop being so-
(Oh crap, VegettoEX is here! O_O)
Umm... yeah... as I was saying, improper grammar is a blight on our perfect world, and all perpetrators must be dealt with swiftly and accordingly.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
I actually spelled someone the right way... Other than that, people do make mistakes (unless it's so ridiculous, it's borderline lazy Internet speak). I make mistakes myself!Godo wrote:It's "someone" not "some one", and also "grammar", not "grammer".

Yeah. He probably meant that you used "some times" when the adverb of frequency "sometimes" (i.e. "occasionally") is one word.theawesomepossum777 wrote:I actually spelled someone the right way...

Ah, yeah. That's right.Bussani wrote:Yeah. He probably meant that you used "some times" when the adverb of frequency "sometimes" (i.e. "occasionally") is one word.theawesomepossum777 wrote:I actually spelled someone the right way...
But one thing though. Generally I believe that the posts here on Kanzenshuu hold high quality compared to many other forums.
Of course, there are always some people who have problems with formatting their text or using punctuation and whatnot, but I feel that it's not that prevalent here.
Myself, unless a post is written in a way that makes it impossible to understand it, don't care much about the formatting of a post.
And of course, it's easy to see if a poster has the English language as their primary language or not. It is generally easier to let non-native speakers' mistakes slide for me (as I am one myself).
But yeah, it's not a pet peeve of mine.
Just thought that I would add this so that my only contribution in this thread wouldn't be just correcting the OP. I believe that it made me look like a douche, which wasn't my intention, but nevertheless, that was probably the result. Hope that this corrects it.
