I've been on a bit of a DragonBall Music "buzz" ever since I got my copy of the BGM Collection set in the mail a few days ago, and I've been thinking about ordering the four "Complete Song Collection" sets to (more-or-less) finish up my DB music library. I entertained the idea of ordering the 13-Disc "Super Complete" mega-box, but then decided that I don't really care enough about the exclusive songs on that set (the "Best Remix" CD tracks, the karaoke tracks, the "live" tracks, and the "English" tracks) to throw down $200+ all at once.
So I've decided to just settle for the "Complete Song Collection" sets. I've done all my research (Thanks, Kanzenshuu Music Database!), and confirmed that these four sets contain every vocal song from the "golden age" of DBZ (1989-1996). I don't really care that the instrumental tracks from the "Hit Song Collections" were dropped, though I might pick up Volume 06 for good ol' "BP∞."
Okay, I'm rambling. Anyway, here's my question. During my research, I noticed that one single DBZ song (by my calculation) from 1989-1996 was missing: "Kung Fu Gymnastics," from the Movie 11 "Single +1" disc. It's not on the 13-Disc mega-box, either. Kanzenshuu confirms that it's performed by Hironobu Kageyama, which means it's a vocal song. Thus, it's the only glaring omission from an otherwise complete collection!
Does anyone know of any reason why this song wasn't included? I'd hate to think it was simply an oversight, especially since they so thoroughly assembled all the songs from more obscure albums (The "Akira Toriyama: The World" CD, for example). Also, if I miscalculated and there is another 1989-1996 song that wasn't included, please let me know if possible.
Thanks in advance, guys!
