The Polish Dragonball Z dub!

I don't know much about it, but it really sounds awful...
They've used a VERY CUT French dub as source.
But, that's not he worst thing, their dub is a guy READING a script for all characters, with the French version in the background.

All of polish tv is like that for some reason. I remember having a polish channel on satelitte back in the middle east. Instead of dubbing a foreign show, they leave it in its original language (or french in DBZ's case) and they have some guy translating the whole thing as the show progresses. Pretty hilarious if you ask me. Why they don't dub or use subtitles, I'll never know!

I admit it is very odd. You know what's more odd though? The fact that in the French dub they're always playing "bounce the voices around". I swear, that current voice for Piccolo, I call it the "constipated squirrel" voice, was first used for Vegeta, then Kami, then Kaio-sama(who still has it there, now Piccolo. -_- And of course, Piccolo's old voice has now gone to Freeza. It's all very, very odd indeed.

Aww god!! Bad memories come back to my mind! I got two or three VHS with this "dub" on it. SO awful. In my opinion the french dub is the worst of all times and then they added this off-speaker. Why didn't they just use subtitles?!

Thats how they dubbed "The Simpsons" in Russia to. Its all in English with some guy talking over the English voices at a slightly higher volume translating it.

Mostly they stay consitent, but yeah, some eps are like that :(
Expect it was use for Kami-sama first, in DB, or was it piccolo daimaoh?

Oh dear Kami I think the One Piece Dub has a roval for worst Anime Dub ever. That was horrid.

Vietnam does that with a lot with foreign shows too. It gets pretty annoying. :roll:

:lol: :lol: I've also seen that in some (Polish?!) channel long ago! Hilarious. One guy doing all the voices!! :lol: :lol:

Fortunatly, the portuguese Dragon Ball dubs are superb (megaaaaa-funny :mrgreen: ).
Although most foreign shows/movies are subtitled, even some cartoons...

Wow... That is pathetic. I wonder how much that guy got paid...

The least he could do is try to change his voice for the different characters.
