That was surprisingly cool! You picked a really good scene with nice tracks to do that with.

Maybe this is how this movie's score is going to sound like.

Wow! that was amazing
definitely gotta agree with everyone, thanks for sharing.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

It is being rumored that the theme song is going to be a cover version of Cha-La Head-Cha-La by Flow. There's still no source yet, but it sounds very possible.

Well, I do remember "GO!" being one of the few Naruto songs that I liked enough to, at the time, have a copy of. So yeah, no problems either way having FLOW do a Head Cha La cover. (I guess Cha La is more iconic than We Gotta Power?).
At least it's not an Avril Lavigne cover of a Nickleback song; what One Piece Film Z has. You should've seen the OP forums after that was announced. It's not even the opening song for the movie, it plays during the end credits, yet they've used the two Avril cover songs in trailers more than the actual movie's opening song.

It suddenly popped up on 2ch. In addition, a member of the band tweeted that something exciting would be announced today. It's just a rumor anyway.Avenged wrote:No source? Of course it's gonna be Goku's time again. He is the main character of the franchise. He is what Luffy is to One Piece, what Naruto is to Naruto, what Arale is to Dr. Slump, what Jack Sparrow is to The Pirates of the Caribbean, etc. Sure he was replaced by Gohan, and almost additionally by Goten &Trunks, but still Toriyama decided that ultimately, Goku is the main character of the series. And that's how it will always will be, like it or not. Because Goku is a better hero compared Gohan, Goten, or Trunks, and most importantly, Goku sells better. And they obviously want this to sell a lot, so experimenting with new main characters like Pan, Oob, Goku Jr. & Vegeta Jr., Beet, or the main character in DBO wouldn't be a very good idea.dbzfan7 wrote:So i'm guessing the movie will be GT again. James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Aw, c'mon. How about a new theme by Hironobu Kageyama?kei17 wrote:It suddenly popped up on 2ch. In addition, a member of the band tweeted that something exciting would be announced today. I was Thanos before the MCU existed!

I'd be pretty bummed if it was just HEAD-CHA-LA again, but at least a cover would be redeeming. I'd much prefer some new Kageyama action. Even if it was a new group with a new theme I'd still be happy (But I remember not being that fond of Orange Hero).

Wow. One of the first updates that legitimately interests me and it's something like that...
Here's hoping Kageyama sings an ending theme or something. It's the first theatrical DBZ movie in years and we don't get the voice of DBZ?

Seeing as "Go!" was like the only Naruto theme I liked, I'm kind of excited for this. For a band I don't totally understand, they are pretty cool. Though I really think Maximum the Hormone should do it.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Oh, well, that settles that! Good job being so quick on the draw, Mike.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2013 Movie Thread: "Battle of Gods
Interested to hear what the cover will sound like; I did like "GO!", so I'm feeling positive-neutral on the movie-opening music choice.

No new Kageyama makes Jacob something-something.
Well, maybe the cover will be good?

FLOW did the first Eureka Seven opening song.

Oh God..... FLOW. I hate J-Pop allready, this could've been worse only with Avril Lavigne......
Being it JAM Project, why not. Pop music in contrast to awesome movie and classical composers never was a strong devise of Japan, maybe for otakus....
Well, I love the 80's and early 90's opening themes, I loved how One Piece got opening in this style at first.
I can be optimistic, but not in case of J-Pop and cover of something that is good by some modern pop trash.
They already screwed Pegasus Fantasy in SS Omega and the original singer didn't helped. That cover of One Piece's We Are also wasn't good....
Some grimm tuesday news.
