I assumed it was due to the fact that he just finished training with Uub. Whatever power up he gets, it has to be huge and temporary, and Old Kai's power up fits that.

I also think that there may be other Gods of Destruction assigned to each area, just like the Kai's, and when the others find out that Bills was defeated by a mortal, they're going to take an interest in Goku which will lead to more movies or a new series.

Dragonball Kai would be a perfect title too...maybe after they finish the Z episodes in Kai, new stories will be told.

What is the source for Bibidi accidentally creating Buu?

I don't have the book on me, but it's in volume 42, when Kaioshin is explaining the origin of Boo.

It's actually during the initial explanation of Boo, at the end of volume 37/Z 21.

"by chance" which might also mean that he had luck to be able to create the monster, not that it was an accident. Because it might be something really hard to create a living being, not every mage can do this. Babidi spent his life trying to revive the monster his father created instead of creating a new one.

Yeah, it's vague, but I think the implication is that Boo's creation was more the result of happy circumstance ("happy" from Bibidi's perspective), and therefore an event that couldn't be repeated. Sort of like the stupid cliche where lightning strikes machinery or whatever at just the right moment and produces miraculous results. In contrast to Cell, who Gero's computer could presumably make more of, if given enough time and resources. Bibidi is described as an "evil wizard", so we know he wasn't some innocent guy who happened to create a super monster while trying to cook a souffle. He was probably messing around with black magic when all the right chips fell into place for him to make Boo.

Yeah and the not being able to do it again part is what I was getting at. So perhaps Bibidi just flat out wasn't even trying to create Buu but it happened anyways during some other spell or maybe he was trying to but some outside force (maybe Birusu) helped without him knowing or something else made it so that it worked once but couldn't do it again. Its like how in marvel Captain America's shield was made in a lab that was trying to make a new super strong substance but the actual succesful creation was by accident and they couldn't figure out how to do it again.

Flicking through the trailer for the 50th time and I thought I'd note a couple of things:

- There appears to be two trees on the floating pyramid-thing. And while it's seeming less likely that one of those is the World Tree (it is called the World Tree, right? If not, someone stop me), I was wondering if Toriyama ever said if there was just one tree where the fruit grows, or if there's multiple. Then again, those buildings on the side of the tree could potentially be the castles that the Kaioshin study in.

- That one shot of Uisu's an interesting setting. Looks like there's a couple of crystals sitting in the background.

- Perhaps the floating rock with the plate on top is meant to be a trap to lure Birusu, although I get the feeling that the hour glasses are Uisu's work for some reason. Looks as though there's different coloured sand as well.

- Do you guys think the re-appearance of Kaio's planet has something to do with the whole creation thing, or is it just a big mistake?

- Goku's final Kamehameha looks like it's taking place above Earth, likely from the same scene as Goku and Birusu staring each other down. Perhaps it's the climax of the film?

Still think there's more to Uisu than simply being an "attendant". The poster makes him out to be something big, especially with the way he appears to descend from the heavens.

Goku is shown struggling with Bills' final Sun-looking energy sphere while firing his Kamehameha in space, which implies it's the final battle. One has to be destroyed by Bills' energy sphere, either Goku or Bills himself.

He is like Kibito to Supreme Kai. Is Kibito superior or inferior to Supreme Kai?? He seems stronger than Supreme Kai and looks like a bad guy, but his origins are not really revealed in the series.

But yeah, unfortunately we know virtually nothing about him other than that he's Birusu's attendant. In DB Heroes, I believe he has an attack called 'Prelude to Destruction' or something to that effect. Apparently he's taken a liking to sushi too.
Almost certain he has a bigger role than what everything leading up to the film would suggest. Again, I'd like to point everyone to his placement on the poster.

All we know about Uisu is that he is Birusu's attendant, a mysterious guy who has a mysterious connection with Kaio & Kaioshin, and he can even strike fear to Kaio & Kaioshin.
