Quick question kei, out of curiosity, was Kaioshin fused in the movie?

Do you mean whether it's Kibito-shin? If so, yes.

Well there you go. It'd be a bit surprising for Toriyama to make this mistake if it had been done right in the movie, but maybe it was a deliberate choice here to include Kaioshin over Kibitoshin.

Awesome, first official look at it. It is different from Kaio-ken at least, but I'm still not really happy with it. Thanks for posting it.

I like the top pic better! But at least it's noticable in both. And the aura in the top one is really cool!
Did they change the shape of his hair at all Kei?

His body becomes thinner. Kamesen'nin actually points it out in the movie.

What little I can see of his arms does look thinner.
My photoshop's color-picker says the eyes and hair are two completely different types of red. Photoshop says the hair's more of a pink and the eyes are more genuine red.

Well, they do appear to be two different types of red to my naked eye.

Good to see that they hyped a new form of Super Saiyan and it's just a glorified Kaioken with help of other people.
I actually find it pleasing. It's like a fun middle finger to the fans. All Bandai has to do is slightly recolor any Kaioken Goku merchandise. People will double, triple, quadruple dip for a recolored figure or poster, because well, they're DBZ fans.
In fact, I'd be surprised if that wasn't the impetus behind the whole movie. Selling Kai merch that wasn't moving. "Let's recolor it and call it a new Super Saiyan form!" "Brilliant!"

But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Definitely liking the top image more than the bottom one, but I'm guessing the slightly different hair style and the brighter red is only due to the aura...

Yeah, I feel the same. And as kei said, the hairstyle doesn't change, so the top image is probably just the hair flowing with movement.
