Vegeta and Goku with customisable clothes and whatnot would look really cool, like Raging Blast 2 has and Ultimate Blast for the custom character (although very limited).Saiyan Prince Vegeta wrote:This will be a 100% buy once I see Vegeta.
P.S: It's understandable why this game isn't coming to Xbox 360, it just wouldn't attract enough gamers in the western and we all know that Xbox 360 sales in Japan are terrible. Japanese gamers are close minded really, they only support their own console makers than outsiders that's not fair but it's business. It's all it is.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

You say this while a new mobile Dragon Ball game from the same company launches on two American platforms.dbboxkaifan wrote:Vegeta and Goku with customisable clothes and whatnot would look really cool, like Raging Blast 2 has and Ultimate Blast for the custom character (although very limited).Saiyan Prince Vegeta wrote:This will be a 100% buy once I see Vegeta.

With two more series left to be unveiled I hope one ends up being Yu Yu Hakusho, I doubt it but I still think it would be cool ( And I would love to play as Yusuke). They have Goku in the mix with all these new kids even though he has crossed paths with Naruto and Luffy before lol.
I think they should have three classic series in Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin or something and then have the three newer series One Piece, Naruto and Toriko.

How about Gon from Hunter X Hunter? Does he have any chance to be one of the characters? I'm not a huge fan of the series, but it is a popular one in Japan. From what I heard the HxH movie that came out not too long ago did quite well...
Yes, Goku visited me once. He turned to me while I was still speechless, and said, "You've drank too much"...

Yeah, Gon Freecs is another very likely candidate. HunterxHunter prints money regardless of how often Togashi puts out a chapter, and the new show, and the movie.
Goku - Luffy - Toriko - Naruto - Ichigo - Jotaro is my official "mascot roster" prediction. Maaaybe Gon could usurp Ichigo, but he won't edge out Jotaro. Of course, six characters is ridiculous, so even if he's not a mascot, Gon could show up anyway.

I guess they will first reveal the protagonist of each series, and then the rest main character from each series.

Re: Project Versus J (JUMP crossover game) for PS3/Vita
Are you sure there are only two more series reveals left? ANN's article on the Naruto reveal never mentioned that, and I can't read Japanese to say otherwise. If there are only six series represented my interest in this game will plummet. "Ultimate JUMP game"? More like the Ultimate Drink Coaster to go along with Ultimate Tenkaichi.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Don't worry, there are two more series left to be revealed, and Bleach will be one of them.Saiga wrote:This makes me rather confident Bleach won't be represented at all.
If you'd like to read up on why Microsoft completely cratered in Japan with the XBOX, let me suggest reading this. You'll find out there's a lot more to the failure of those platforms than just xenophobia. Frankly, given how Microsoft's abandoned Japan they deserve the fate they've received.dbboxkaifan wrote:Smartphones and home consoles shouldn't really be compared despite being American/etc.

Back when it was announced, they said that the people should vote 3 out of 7 series shown in this scan. So, with the 3 already announced ones (Dragon Ball, One Piece, Toriko), and the upcoming 3 (now 2, since Naruto is confirmed), we will get at least 6 series, which is fine by me, since I'm not a manga/anime fan in general (only a DB/Toriyama, Naruto, and One Piece fan).Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Are you sure there are only two more series reveals left?

Re: J-Stars Victory Vs. (JUMP crossover game) for PS3/Vita
I really don't want to come off as rude, but are you sure? Mike's translation of that scan didn't mention anything about the amount of series represented:
http://www.kanzenshuu.com/2012/12/12/pr ... -ps3-vita/Images in the magazine show off Toriko’s “Nail Punch”, Luffy’s “Gum-Gum Stamp”, and Goku’s Kamehameha. The magazine also asks readers to enter a new contest by choosing up to three characters they feel are the strongest and why (as well as detailing their favorite manga, which game consoles they own, their favorite game genre, and how many video games they own). Naturally, rivals and female characters are OK, too! From all those who enter, 10 people will be chosen by lottery to receive a PlayStation 3 system. Votes will be tallied to determine which characters make the game’s final roster cut. The deadline is 31 January 2013, so that presumably puts the game’s release at least at some point in time after that.
Last week’s contest asked readers to design their own character and send it in — that contest’s deadline is this month on the 28th. Prizes for that contest include:
Grand prize (1 person) – paper signed by Eiichiro Oda, Wii U premium set, and 5 games of your choosing
Second prize (20 people) – Nintendo 3DS LL (XL)
Effort Prize (100 people) – SONY Walkman
The game’s recently-unveiled teaser website asks visitors to look for more information on the 17th of this month, which falls right in line with the release of this particular Jump magazine release.

Re: J-Stars Victory Vs. (JUMP crossover game) for PS3/Vita
I'm hoping it's not only two more series to be revealed, otherwise my interest also plummets a bit. They've got enough really great Jump properties available to them that they could make a game as diverse and awesome as the Smash Bros. series, so why limit themselves like that?

I don't remember anywhere being said that only three more series would be included. That's not to say that of those 7 series, one is a romentic comedy, one is a school comedy and one is about volleyball. Not the best choices for a fighting game, right? I think those characters are on the image just for the sake of it.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Back when it was announced, they said that the people should vote 3 out of 7 series shown in this scan. There was and is not anything about "two" more series anywhere. I have no idea where you guys are getting that from. If it's from another website, you deserve to be reprimanded.
All the new pages say is that they promise more Jump series.

When I saw the real title I sort of thought they'd just have main characters only and lots of series being represented.
I know it's too much to expect, but I'd actually like to see YYH get represented.
