Lets see:
In dragonball when Tenshinhan became virtually useless after the 22nd tournament.
In dragonball Z when Gohan will not go Super Saiyan 2 against Boo
In Dragonball Gt it was all of Pan.

Dragonball- Can't really think of anything... The pacing of the Red Ribbon arc maybe...

Dragonball Z- The Artifical Human arc

Dragonball GT- The hit and miss first 16 episodes.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Oddly enough, I don't find Pan annoying.

Pan was adorable and easily my favorite character in GT. She's got one grandfather's love for a good fight and the toher grandfather's ego. It is essentially Gokule but in spunky tiny female form.

The only thing wrong about GT Pan was this and it is the single thing that will always bug me about GT.

WHY NO SUPER SAIYAN PAN GODDAMMIT.

I could forgive Goku overshadowing everyone. I could forgive how wasted the Shadow Dragons arc was. I could overlook Vegeta's mustache. I could actually like GT in spite of all its other faults if they just gave me a Super Saiyan Pan scene.

Sigh...

As for DBZ, the Brats achieving Super Saiyan was atrocious but I'd say the worst thing is Gohan' becoming the strongest in the universe but still not doing jack.
Although we can't forget Goku being an alien all along. That annoys me quite a bit as well.

Pan is the Dawn Summers (Buffy's sister) of GT. Okay, the stuff between her and Giru was amusing and cute at times, but she was definitely the most annoying part of GT.

The thing that annoyed me about Z was how dumb every human was to believe Mr. Satan. The world seems to instantly forget anything involving Goku, but has a long memory regarding Mr. Satan. It also bothers me that a teenage boy (even if he is a cyborg) is stronger than the formerly strongest being in the universe, Freeza.
