Big news this morning over at nintendo.

The nintendo revolution has been renamed...

It is now called "Wii"...

Wow... :shock: Nintendo Revolution sounded really cool..."Wii"? What kinda drugs are they smokin' over at Nintendo? Are you sure this is true? Is the site reliable and official? Only nintendo. And the thing is, the systems probably going to be just as if not more popular/anticipated now.

Bah. Personally, I hope enough complaints goes through and changes it. Revolution meant something. The controller was new. The idea of playing old console games officially through the console was new and fresh.

I can understand they're trying to go for the "togetherness" with its fans and that "ii" in Wii stands for good. But come on. This is just ridiculous on all sorts of levels. :\
