GM9's commercial will feature all three 17's, all three new avatars, and both new Super Saiyan 3s (poorly drawn from the only scene they were shown in during this brief teaser). The in-game models confirm once again that this is Trunks in the light teal colored jacket from right before he actually traveled back in time, regardless of what is drawn on the commercial's animation or cards: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6YWvicki9o

All three? So Hell Fighter #17 will be a separate card then? Was suspecting that might be the case, but hoping it wouldn't.

Oh, there were no cards featured in the commercial of 17 besides the Super version. I was talking about the animation featuring 17, Hellfighter 17 and Super 17; I don't know if the card will be separate yet though. I imagine it will be since he is in fact a separate entity that exists alongside the original.

Also, jusging from this video, the SEC will be Super Bebi 17 or something akin to that. There is a distinctly shaped 17 like character outline on the card and it features a eye line similar to what is seen on Bebi characters (specifically one kinda like Freeza has and was seen on Bebi Janenba): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FM1Sg4MHRmU

Oh I see, didn't notice. Yeah he will probably have his own separate slot.

And Baby Super 17? Oh boy, sounds exciting :D

Super #17-Baby, eh? So, Dr. Myuu's ultimate Machine Mutants are going to merge. Fuck yeah!
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Speculation based on a card not clearly shown.

The card in the commercial can be anything, a mutated Super 17, Majin Super 17, or something else never seen before... not necessarily a Baby-infected Super 17.

In fact, the card in the commercial might not even be the actual GM9 SEC card,
but another card or a generic bright card used for purpose.
Latelly all secret cards have been teased in the same way, it is natural to assume this is the case again. Furthermore, you can see the typical "Baby" lines and Super 17's features. Whilst it's not definitive proof, it would be a logical step. Also, we did get Piccolo Daimao teased in exactly the same way.

Those lines on the cheeks are present on the Baby-infected Janemba, but it's also on Frieza and Cell.
So it can be anything.

Thank You very much :D !

I believed that the SEC would be Vegeta SSJ4

Why would it be? It's too soon for him and it would be a waste of secret card.

The Super 17 Saga won't last long, everything will be already covered in GM9.
They'll need to find something new for GM10. I don't think they'll introduce the Shadow Dragons that soon.

There's still much they can cover. Goku and Friends Return, World's Strongest, Garlic Junior Arc... possibly expand to Daimao's children. We'll see.

I don't know about you guys, but this is what I'm seeing in that card and it really looks like a Super Bebi 17.

Psst, Neko Majin Z...

Yup, totally see that too, and I hope it is. I didn't think about it in the "fusing two machine mutants" way. That is very interesting, and I bet it'll make it easier for you to work around in your project ;)

Also, Neko Majin... I know brother... One can hope and dream huh?

I'm not sure if it does or not. It seems like it'd be easier to work in, but still brings along its own set of problems. I was already planning on tying Bebi in with Super 17 without it being an infection, but I can't do it now. Also, not sure how to jump from Bebi to Bebi Vegeta to Janenba to Bebi Janenba to Super 17 to Super Bebi 17 without everything seeming like a giant asspull to keep Bebi alive for all this...

If it weren't for the project, I wouldn't mind this at all (and I still don't mind much anyway because it's villain stuff and not SS forms). I just hope they don't overload us with too many Bebi characters. It's already gonna feel like he's really outstaying his welcome, I kinda don't want to have to work in more of him. xD

Was that SSj3 GT Vegeta in the video right next to the SSj4 Goku card? And if so, has that era of Vegeta had a SSj3 card yet?

He lays eggs in people, give him the ability to lay "enhanced" eggs that can turn into copies of him, kinda like Daimao but more perfected clones. This means that even if he dies, he would have laid eggs in a secure place to burst when the time is right. And what better time then when the dark forces of hell are most concentrated? Twice?
He just bursts into existence again, having the memories of all the events up until the egg was laid.

Yes and yes. He was the secret card of Galaxy Mission 7.
